Food here was delicious. I got a flat white with a lovely bear pattern, chocolate milkshake for my daughter and a panini filled with chicken cheese and mayonnaise. Service was amazing, and very polite and lovely workers.I’ll be sure to come here again with my work mates and family.

Go here at least once a week with my partner and our sons. Always get the all day breakfast and always enjoy it. Been coming here since I was little with my Gran who is no longer with us, will always have a special place in my ♥

Good freshly cooked food great service

I’m there every second Wednesday and every Thursday Friday and Saturday for coffee always service with a smile and a good bit of banter with the staff well recommended

Crackin caf, greasy spoon vibe with brilliant coffee. Shirley is great, nothing is too much trouble. Turkish chefs who don't mind the odd conversation. Deliveroo and Just eat also available

I have been coming to this marvellous award winning cafe for years, it's always friendly and welcoming. The staff, Shirley is my favourite, always have a smile on their face. My 10 year-old daughter loves it here so much she won't eat anywhere else in Dalkeith. Treat you like your family. 10/10 always. Free lollipop to big and wee kids. Free newspaper for those who like to take their time, not rushed, to just relax. If your wanting something not on the menu they will try to help you, they are always happy for me to order my baked potato with homemade couscous and side salad.

Wow! This place is awesome. Excellent food, and I mean really, really tasty, good atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff.

We came across by chance and were considering Greggs next door for a wee second but this place is infinitely better. Food is much better at exceptionally reasonable rates.

Great food and very friendly service

Perfect for families, kid friendly, the staff was amazingly friendly, they gave out free newspaper and lollies to kids, very reasonably priced, food was fantastic. I was very surprised to find such a welcoming, heart warming place in Dalkeith! Would recommend.

On the way to visit the Butterfly farm Dalkieth we stopped of for a light bite before going on to the Butterfly farm. Looking around we spotted amid many cafe's " Cafe Troy" . Staff very cherry, happy to engage in a bit banter with me, this to me is important as it gives a " you are most welcome here".
That worked both ways.
Will go back again.
