The Alyth Traditional Fish Bar

Stopped in tonight on our way back to our holiday venue. Ordered for 8 people and they could not have been more helpful. We're not the most organised group on the planet but the staff here were really helpful and very patient, even with our strict dietary requirements on top. Food was top notch, portion size was brilliant and I could not recommend this place more. Absolutely 5 stars and hope to be back again one day.

Fish and chips were stunning, just visiting the area but was over the moon we made a visit to this place. Definitely one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Prices reasonable aswell.

Lovely friendly staff, food was very nice too, good price. 1st time I'd ever seen battered pizza lol. Definitely Recommend the fish supper 😊 note when ordering sausages or fishcakes you get 2 in a portion so great value, and the fishcakes are gorgeous a little bit spicy really yummy.

This has got to be one of the best fish and chip shops i have ever been to food was delicious. Tried a mock chop for first time and it was delicious. The staff were amazing had a laugh with them. Highly recommended.

A fine wee white pudding supper was had from this establishment. Looks like they rack up the awards, with a stop if you're in the area.

Was staying near Alyth with some friends for New Year and got a meal for seven from here on 30th Dec. Really nice fish, chips and sausages.

3 very nice staff on when me and my fiancèe visited for a fish supper as staying local in a cottage the food was cooked fresh was still lovely and hot when got back to cottage.
Fish was nice the chips were tasty and the portion sizes were good.
The curry is a Chinese style curry not chip shop curry but was still lovely.
Would highly recommend.

The best fish and chips we have tasted in years. A very popular place, and rightly so.

I've used this chip shop a few times now and the quality of the food has been consistent and excellent. Being able to phone ahead with an order has been useful to save having to queue inside for too long - but long enough to read all the many awards hanging from the wall. The menu is extensive and the fish is great, although my favourite is the haggis supper. All food seems to be cooked mostly to order.

Excellent fresh haddock and chips cooked expertly and served in sustainable packaging. Very friendly staff and owner. Extremely popular fish and chip shop with parking nearby in the town square.
