Great food. My mate Simon couldn't get enough of the chips which were really well cooked.
The fish was huge & cooked in a light batter whilst the mushy peas were plentiful & really tasty.

Staff were friendly, courteous and generous with our portions of fish and chips. We donated to the Ukrainian War Appeal and shared our sad thoughts on this. Parking available nearby and we enjoyed the big fish with not too much batter. Would happily eat in next time if we get there earlier.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Good variety, excellent portion sizes and value for money at takeaway. Don't have to wait long. Would definitely recommend. Right on High Street. Not always able to get parked on High Street at peak times. Best chippy in town.

My wife and I have started to use ‘The Starfish’ as our go to stop for a foodie refuel when travelling up and down the M74. There’s plenty of free parking in Lockerbie and the food portions are generous and, more importantly, the chips are consistently great and the accompaniments very good. Don’t bother with service stations et al, if you need a break and food pull into Lockerbie and try here - I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I came here for lunch today. Lovely friendly welcome. Great choices on the menu. We both had cheeseburgers with cheese&bacon. These were served with salad in a fresh seeded bun and chips. Absolutely delicious. Definitely worth visiting. We will be back.

Brilliant! Only place in Dumfries and Galloway that knows how to cook a king rib! Lovely staff that never forget what their customers like. Don't waste time trying anywhere else, this is THE best chippy in at least a 100 mile radius! Love it. I'd have given it 10 stars out of 5 if I could. In fact, I'd actually just live there if they'd let me!!!

Always friendly and food is very tasty and well priced. Gluten free chips are great for our daughter she loves them. ❤ Would definately recommend 😀

Excellent service and very welcoming lady always smiling and gives the customer time to chose what they wish to eat and drink no rushing the customers would recommend this place and good valve, eat in or take away service
