Staying with friends for Xmas, in Hietton, visited a couple of times. ALL Xmas veg. excellent service, quality produce. Lovely friendly staff.
Garden Centre, excellent, bargains galore. Highly recommended for a visit. We'll definitely be returning.
Sorry, only locate this photo.

Another trip and as usual absolutely spot on 🥰 food is reasonably priced and lots of choice, huge garden centre with plenty to see inside and out. Highly recommend, especially the farm shop at the entrance!

Very nice breakfast on until 11-30 that's unusual nowadays We were passing through lots of people getting free cake because they had this posted through door' did ask someone!Think that's hard show what about outsiders who don't live local??

Down near the River Tweed, there's a good walk in front of the big (and not so big) hooses. Plenty of room in the car park on the day we visited, though we went midweek. Julian's veg at the entrance is worth a look for the wide and varied produce, I thought they were trying hard on the green credentials too. Nice garden centre, the crafts section is a good few shelves with embroidery, carding, stencilling etc.

Although there's food and drink on display in the cafe you wait to be shown to a table by a waiting person (all female if I'm not mistaken, so waitresses) who will explain the ordering system. Scan the QR code and go to the menu where you can select and pay. There's a section for dietary requirements but this failed in our case- my daughter has a nut allergy (ILT in the past) and a less serious egg and shellfish allergy but they either didn't read this bit or more worrying ignored it. The next time you see a server is when they bring your food so no opportunity to check.

All that said, our lunches and lattes were good (we all had sandwiches) and my daughter paid so I don't know how much. My fruit trifle for afters was excellent. We sat outside where it wasn't too busy, too insecty or seagully (none actually)-I thought the air con inside was a tad chilly but plenty of others were perfectly ok with it. A couple of small wheeled wheelchairs are available at the entrance, though fine for the centre.

Myself and my wife were in on Sunday for a valentine afternoon tea. Food was great but service was better. Many thanks to Lisa & Irene for spoiling us.

This is a really good little garden centre that offers an annual pass which gives you two hot drinks a month in their cafe and other discounts and loyalty points. The cafe is large and very popular with the locals which is a good sign and the place has some really good stock in it from the initial visit I made. Very friendly. They even offered locals free tulip bulbs which brought me over to see them for the first time. Even though I was a few weeks late there was still some left. They have been very generous. Great cheese scones too 😝

Another review here says they don't have clothes in store now but they do.

Great River walk here too 😀

Really one of the best garden centres I have been to. Excellent displays of we looked after plants. Marvellous selection of garden tools. A nice art and craft section. Large cafe selling high quality food. And a green grocer attached outside. Strongly recommend it

Absolutely adore spending time at this place especially with my partner. Extremely relaxing and therapeutic which is even more so in the nice weather.
Friendly staff and that goes for the cafe as well which serves really well presented and delicious food. Unlike some garden centre cafes the food prices aren't bad either!
Always lots of animals visiting to meet too. You may even meet the resident kitty too if you're lucky!

Great place to visit, fantastic choice of plants and garden equipment. Good choice of pet supplies and gifts. Coffee shop was a let down, was going to eat but when saw the state of the food decided not to bother, looked like it had been out for hours. Staff not very helpful when ask if they could do fresh

Absolutely love this place! The variety of items they have for sale is brilliant. I especially love the huge range of card making and craft products! Some great deals too...
The coffee shop was nice, it's not a budget cafe...but I think it's worth it. Food is a bit more than I wanted to spend on a cafe lunch but others may find it acceptable.
It is a great place to visit though, much to see and buy and I highly reccomend a visit. If you are in the area in the evening then I highly reccomend watching the sunset from the river round the corner! Both times iv been it was just stunning.
