We had a wonderful stay at the Nest, thanks to all the attention to detail that Karen and Dave had put into the restoration of the cottage. Added to this were Karen's home baked goodies which were a most welcome touch. With comfy beds and well furnished living areas it was a Nest indeed!
There are so many lovely places to visit in the area. As walkers, we explored Worcester and the River Severn, the Wyre Forest, the Malvern Hills and the local canal running between Stourport on Severn and Kidderminster. For a good restaurant, try the Chequers. we'd thoroughly recommend it.

The Nest was a brilliant find for a weeks holiday as it provided a cosy base well located for many things to see and do. On arrival we were delighted to find an immaculate property both in terms of cleanliness and how well furnished and equipped it was. The welcome basket was quite a treat with homemade bread, jam, lemon drizzle cake, wine and fudge plus staples such as butter and milk etc all provided to get us started. Can’t speak highly enough about the cottage and we hope to return for another stay very soon.

I booked The Nest because even though it wasn't the perfect location for my trip, I fell in love with the photographs of the "secret" walled garden and light, bright, colourful and well decorated rooms.
I wasn't disappointed!
In reality, the cottage was more beautiful than the photographs, the walled garden a flowery treat and an ideal summer hideaway. The first place I have slept for a long time with no traffic noise (and I slept very well!).
Karen was a wonderful host, kind and helpful, who left a thoughtful and generous welcome pack. The cottage was extremely well appointed far above and beyond any expectations. Even a cool bag and picnic rug, and absolutely everything else I needed.
Everything about The Nest felt well thought out and organised.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.

By far the best place we have ever stayed! The Nest is exceptionally clean, it is very modern, it has extremely comfortable beds, and has everything you could need. We were greeted with home made bread, home made lemon drizzle cake (the best we've ever tasted), butter, eggs and milk......not to mention the home made jam and tasty fudge. Our host Karen has literally thought of everything. We can not recommend this place enough, absolutely beautiful. Thank you!

Having stayed a week at " The Nest " we cannot speak too highly of this charming cottage which is situated in a very tranquil area. The cottage is extremely cosy and comfortable and is very well furnished throughout. The kitchen is superbly equipped , so much more than one would anticipate. Our basket of goodies, so thoughtfully provided by Karen, was very much appreciated, especially her home made produce. The courtyard is a most delightful area in which to spend time.
Karen is a very welcoming hostess and we would recommend her cottage to anyone

This was our second stay at The Nest. It is comfortable and exceptionally clean. Karen is a lovely host and we enjoyed the homemade bread and jam. It is a peaceful and relaxing location in the Countryside, with pretty gardens all around and a super courtyard garden with beautiful pots planted up.

We have just spent a lovely 8 nights in this excellent cottage.
It was very comfortable and well equipped. It has been done to a very high standard. Karen made us so welcome. The lovely basket of goodies was very much appreciated after our long day travelling.
The scenery and the area are very good with lots of places to visit.
I would recommend The Nest to family and friends and hope we will return in the future.

We enjoyed an extremely relaxing break at the Nest. Inside and out it stands out as one of the most comfortable, attractive and thoughtfully equipped cottages we've stayed in. The location is tranquil, with plenty of local paths to explore, but equally there are lots of good options for days out in the area. When the weather wasn't so kind we happily made ourselves comfortable with books and games - fast wifi was also appreciated! From the generous welcome hamper and well stocked coffee selection, to having things like picnic plates and a cool bag to borrow, every effort has been made for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this luxury cottage. It really is awesome and very comfortable. So nice to come back from a day out and drink some delicious local wine in our own private couryard - a real treat! Karen is a fabulous host.

Best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in! The cottage was beautiful, and we loved the vintage decor plus all the mod cons. The welcome pack was very good, and Karen was a brilliant hostess. The location of The Nest is stunning, and we spent some time out and about and the rest enjoying the lovely cottage and courtyard. There are so many places to visit around the area, with some really good cafes, restaurants and pubs. Highly recommended!

From the moment we booked, we knew we had found a fantastic house and owner. The Nest at Winnall is a beautifully decorated cottage in the midst of Worcestershire with walks straight from the door. The moment you walk into the courtyard you can see it has been lovingly restored and looked after. Every room is well stocked and we cooked quite a few times. You even receive cake, bread, and wine on arrival. There is plenty to do in the area with easy access to Stourport or Worcester. We will visit again in the summer months so we can enjoy the courtyard area. Thank you to Karen for being a fantastic host.

We had an excellent stay during half-term. The cottage is in a great location - out in the countryside (so it feels like a proper escape), and yet still easy access to Droitwich and Worcester for days out etc. It was the little touches that made our stay so cosy and welcoming - fresh bread and cakes on arrival and a goody bag for each of the kids. We have a 2 and a 5 year old, and the fact that bedrails and toilet steps/seats were provided just made our getaway so much easier - not to mention the big chest of toys for them to play with (which kept them busy one morning so we stayed in bed until past 8am! Luxury!) Little touches that just really took the stress out of our stay. The house was well laid out and had everything we needed. Highly recommended.

We booked The Nest as not been in the area before and wanted to visit Birmingham as well. From first booking contact to thank you email cannot fault the service provided by Karen. The house itself we would move into tomorrow if Karen would let us.

Its setting is idyllic at the end of a country lane and when you open the gate to property you step into little piece of heaven. The pictures only tell part of the story, its the peace and quiet that hits you.

Walk into the house itself and there are so many little touches that will leave you to discover them yourselves. Will say this though the lemon drizzle cake is to die for and the jam..... hmmm.

There is everything you need in the kitchen and the local information will keep you busy if you even feel like leaving the place.

This has got to be one of our top holiday lets and would recommend that you do book here for as long as you can take out your busy schedules. I know we will be back.

We were really looking forward to our week at The Nest and it didn't disappoint in any way. Every detail had been considered to help ensure our stay was really comfortable and enjoyable - from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy beds and fabulous bathrooms The Nest was a real home from home. There was a lockable store room for our two bikes and enough space within the private patio for our two kayaks. The local cycling and walking were superb - lots of off-road quiet routes and varied footpaths - while the nearby river Severn provided us with the ideal kayaking route from Bridgnorth to Upper Arley with the steam train back. That, together with the number of interesting towns to visit makes The Nest an ideal location for experiencing the best of Worcestershire. We hope to return to explore more another time.

Absolute gem of a place! Immaculate inside and out and the owners left the most delicious home made bread, jam etc which was such a nice touch. The accommodation was very comfortable and the private courtyard is beautiful, as are the views into to owner’s lovely garden. Would definitely stay here again if we are in Worcestershire - during a busy wedding weekend, staying in this lovely cottage with our two little ones was exactly what we needed! Highly recommend!

This is the most luxurious cottage we have stayed in, lovely comfy beds, so clean, outstanding attention to detail with one of my favourite time periods in the kitchen. Everything you could possibly need as a family, beautiful location. The hosts really made us feel at home with the personal touch of the welcome basket (scrupmtious cake). Looking forward to our return at some point soon.

This beautiful place far surpassed any of my expectations! We are fairly hard to please when it comes to holiday accommodation, but this was honestly one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in! Couldn't find fault with a single thing! It was pure luxury - and so much care and attention has clearly gone into every little bit of it. The welcome was lovely - with freshly baked bread, and cake and a generous welcome pack including eggs, butter milk etc. I like the fact you didn't need to worry about bits like oil, cling film soap etc or even tea & coffee ( even herbal and fruit, and decaff selection) The cottage itself is immaculate and the interior design superb. the setting is wonderful - real get away from it all. All you can hear are the birds singing (including cuckoo!) and the bees buzzing around the glorious array of flowers. If i sound like i am getting poetic - just go and see for yourself! PS our 7 year old was more than happy with the selection of toys and the cats, plus collecting eggs from the chickens. She wanted us to swap houses!

Stayed here 2018 so when i saw a late cancellation for Easter weekend i jumped at the chance. everything is pure luxury - and it is all the little things that adds to it for me...fresh homemade brad and jam, snack pack for the little one, coffee machine with lots of choices of coffees and also range of teas, then all the bits and bibs you don't have to worry about taking....
Just pack some clothes, order a supermarket delivery and that's all you need to worry about. the rest is taken care of. We also can't tell how it has aged in anyway in the last 4 years since we stayed. it looks as immaculate as before! Very very clean, tidy and homely. The Courtyard is an oasis of calm - loved spending time out there.

Fabulous family weekend (4 adults) exploring Worcester and the local area. The Nest is a fantastic indoor and outdoor space set in a tranquil area but handy for the local attractions. Beautifully designed and appointed it is definitely the best AirBnB we have ever stayed in. Friendly, welcoming with an amazingly stocked kitchen, great lounge space and possibly the most comfortable beds in the UK. Recommended
