Lovely place to stop walk past the marina out to the point views are great, public toilets near cafe, pub and shop Lovely spot to stop cafe on marina open till 4pm

Ferry service to Eigg & Muck were a great trip to the islands. Skipper & crew great. The seas were rough but the skipper did a great job. The boat was totally safe. Advice is not to sit on the very rear open deck seats when crashing into 3 metre swell with 30mph winds as you will occasionally get soaked. The island of Muck was stunning and try to time your trip so that you can see the Puffins on Horse Island & get across the causeway.

Friendly, cheerful and freshly made food

A fair bit smaller than the Calmac ferry but a very enjoyable way to cross.
There’s ample parking at the Marina, and cafe has food and well stocked shop, as well as toilets and showers if there’s anything you need before the crossing

Lovely quiet village unspoilt
There's a monument to the people trained for s.o.e operations during the war .Well worth a look

Absolutely brilliant service and hospitality.
Will always recommend anybody to come and visit be it by Boat car or on foot.
Also recommend a trip on the Shearwater to the small isles Eigg, Muck, Rhum and Canna.

Beautiful marina, excellent for sight seeing

The best ferry and wild life watch service I have ever experienced!
Coming aboard of Sheerwater you feel you are very welcome here and crew and the skipper are there for you. They may have seen seals or dolphins thousands of times, but you feel they are as excited as you are if some new animal make appearance. If you need any explanation, they are happy to answer any of your questions.
You feel immediately like among friends.
Highly recommended!
I have sailed many times with them. Each and every time it was a joy.

Great wildlife trip. We didn't have the best luck seeing whales or porpoises but ticked all the seabirds off.

We come to this area every year. Would love to live here to be honest. Marina is a very small port some tourist boat trips leave from here. Charming little coffee shop with home baked goods and plenty of seating inside and out. We will be back again soon enough.

Ferry to and from Eigg. Lovely reception. Busy ferry which left on time. Seating inside and out. A little rocky as went due to sea and weather.
Arrived and then picked us up a few minutes late and it took about 50 minutes to return. We saw a lot of seals and seabirds throughout the trip

Put in for a couple of nights on the boat. The people are friendly and very helpful. I recommend the café the scones are fresh with clotted cream and there is plenty of choice of other goodies. The coffee was properly made too.

Caught the ferry to Eigg on a Wednesday, about an hour journey. Great views , we had a clear day and flat water
