My sister got married recently and her partner used Balgonie Kilts as the main outfitters for the groom's party. Helen did a great job of ensuring that everyone looked superb on the big day. The kilts were of a really high quality and fitted exceptionally well. The jackets and accessories really complement the tartans on offer and add a classy, sophisticated look. Well what can we say! Helen literally saved my daughters Wedding! After being badly let down with a Kirkcaldy kilt hire shop.. wrong coloured kilts, wrong handfasting ties.. Missing a separate tartan as well the Grooms plaid, it couldn't have been worse two days before the wedding. What's even more terrible is they knew all this days in advance and didn't bother to contact us. The attitude from the staff was appalling, rude and aggressive, basically didn't care at all. I called Helen at Balgonie, who's advised its to head down the next day, we all went down the day before the wedding. Helen was incredible so welcoming and professional, cheerful and reassured us all. We had arrived deflated, stressed and upset and upon leaving, we were the absolute opposite, everyone looked fantastic, in a much better quality outfit and Helen really did go above and beyond, even supplying the handfasting ties. Helen all we can say is thank you and we will see you again as we wouldn't consider ever going anywhere else! Guys, Don't waste your time, go straight to Balgonie Kilts.

From our very first consultation, they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was covered from ordering in additional kilts to making hip flasks to creating a custom plaid pin, the ideas and combinations they produced were brilliantly creative - they even made a matching tartan bow tie for the family dog.

The entire group's outfits on the day looked amazing with a level of personal service that you just don't get from chain kilt stores - Always easily contactable and flexible with appointment times.

Each time a completely new style and colourway. I can be quit fussy but nothing is to much effort to give me exactly what I'm looking for. She has loads of experience and is so knowledgeable (which is handy when your fiancé is a bit clueless!).
