Bideford Brewers Fayre

We visited for my husband's birthday for a family meal.
We reserved a table, and when we arrived, we gave our name and was seated straight away.
The server was very helpful and couldn't do enough to make our visit a pleasant one.
The food was very good and to a high standard. The cocktails were absolutely delicious!
The restraunt felt very cosy and comfy and was very child friendly.
Small car park, free parking.
Indoor and outdoor seating.
Clean toilets.
I Would highly recommend the carvery, the best I have had in a long time.

Booked a table last minute for my friend and myself. Was greeted straight away and lead to a lovely table.
Ordered food and drinks at the bar and was served very quickly by a smiley very efficient and pleasant member of staff.
We ordered the 2 for £11.49 meal deal and 2 ciders.
Food was delicious and enough to fill us up. Unfortunately no room for puddings.
All in all, staff were fab, food great and totally enjoyed our meal.

A great little gastro eatery and relatively cheap compared to the other restaurants in the area. We came here twice during our week stay in Bideford, both times being memorable, though not without issue. On our first visit, one in our party ordered a dish with mashed potatoes, but these were still frozen in the centre and so had to be taken back. The other meals were thankfully without any problems.

We pre-booked for both of our visits, which is recommended - they were very busy for both times we came. You do have to be shown to your table, but after that, you order and pay at the bar as you go.

The staff were all very pleasant with no rudeness experienced, as mentioned in other reviews. Must have been Ben's nights off, as he seems to be getting most of the flack.

Recommended, just pre-book, and don't forget to note your table number before heading to the bar to order.

Great place for a treat breakfast, great selection of food and drinks, nice atmosphere, friendly staff and plenty of parking. I would recommend booking as hotel guests get first shout. Will be back, great service can not wait😀

It was lovely here, we were on a break away in Bideford and struggled to find somewhere to eat that wasn't ridiculously overpriced or difficult to get to. This place was fantastic, great food and drink, the kids enjoyed their food and the payment and whole evening itself was simple and convenient. Wonderful staff, thank you very much.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It was clean and tidy, service was excellent and with a smile. Our waitress was considerate of where to seat us with a buggy in tow. The lunchtime offer of 2 meals offered great value, the portions were generous and the food of good quality. You get what you pay for......it's not gourmet quality, but with it being cheaper than a McDonalds (lunchtime offer), I'd definitely recommend. Great offers on drinks, such as refillable coffee and soft drinks and alcohol at prices comparable to Weatherspoons.

Haven't been here for a while, not sure why exactly, but once again we had a good meal with excellent service. Good choice on the menu, and staff with a great sense of humour which was needed when me and my two sons arrive! Highly recommended.

Brewers Fayre staff, where amazing and friendly. The service was very good and can not find any fault. The environment was very clean a d spotless. Special mention goes to, Amanda for her true efficient qualities in hospitality. Praise also goes to, Paula for her hosting and socializing skills.

Very impressed with the food. Very tasty good price. Food was fresh and service was great. Will definitely be going back.

We had a lovely meal. Our waiter who was called Dylan was great. Friendly and happy. Couldnt do enough for us.

Fabulous time here. Hidden gem. Stayed at the premier inn to break up journey and this was fantastic. Staff were spot on amazing with the littles travelling with us and went out of their way to get us settled in a place our eldest approved of (she’s 4). Brilliant!

First time experience of daytime food. Staff pleasant and attentive, food was mediocre, my burger was both overcooked and undercooked. Chips looked like they had been thru a hard life. Steak pie was nice.

Great place serving great food. We had a breakfast there, paid at the entrance and just enjoyed the buffet. If you plan to visit them so book a table just before you go as the place is pretty busy

Awesome value for money work great food options. Drinks are good and desserts very tempting. Free parking and spacious restaurant, indoor and outdoor tables. Just hope they will maintain the full table service after covid days rather than having to leave the table to place any orders.

I had the Xmas turkey dinner was delicious and so much of it I couldn't eat it all, my granddaughter who is a teenager had the festive burger she loved it and said it's like a quarter pounder size overall for the price it's worth every penny.
Staff are quick and very friendly and the place is very clean I would highly recommend this restaurant in Bideford

A really good brewers fayre to go for breakfast😍 polite n friendly staff. The atmosphere has always been kinda laid back n chilled, wether it be full on breakfast carnage or busy evening dinner service. Never had a bad word to say against any of the many meals me & my family have had here. Would definitely recommend going.

Great afternoon with our family. Lovely restaurant and staff with very good standards ( one way systems, plenty of sanitiser, very clean washrooms, clear information about general health and safety related to Covid 19) food is served as requested quickly and hot. Overall great experience by a team in a well looked after restaurant.
