What a fantastic place to visit. Lots to do around this area. Loved the beach, would recommend taking a picnic with you if it's a sunny day and spending the day here. There is a lovely shop here where you can get coffee, cakes, ice cream drinks and so much more.

We arrived on Friday in our small campervan. The welcome was lovely and the pitch we had was overlooking the bay with a pathway to the beach less than a minutes walk away. We had a picnic bench next to us and electric hookup within the price for the pitch. Toilets, showers, laundry and washing up facilities were 5 minutes walk away. The site us secure and friendly. A ten minute walk to a nearby pub which serves meals. There is also a shop on site too. We are new to campervanning so it was the perfect start for us to begin to enjoy this way of holidaying. We'll definitely be coming back.

I stayed here in August 2023. Really nice site. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were very clean and tidy. I pitched my tent in the camping area on the rhs as you enter the site and had a peaceful nights sleep. Shop on site is really handy too. ⛺ ⛱

We took our tourer and very large awning on hard standing pitch. The weather was good, sunshine despite the forecast looking like rain. Park facilities spotless, toilets, with plenty of hot water. Workers are friendly, attentive, and relaxed, but ensuring the park runs smoothly and safely for everyone. Beach popular and great for kids and pets, fantastic walks, and places to visit. We have visited for the past 5 years and just love it, take your paddle board, bike around seven stanes, or just relax, the have pods, static caravans or tenting pitches along with touring patches. FANTASTIC.

We spent five nights in a camping pod, The pod was clean and well equipped, and reasonably priced.
The site is beautifully maintained, Anna and Gordon were very friendly and helpful.
There was some amazing walks on the beach exploring the caves and coves.
We had our 9 year old with us and it felt safe and secure to let her play with the other children camping. There were some people staying for the summer and they were all very friendly and welcoming.

Had three nights on a touring pitch with EHU. Absolutely fab. View straight out to beach. Exceptional staff. Clean site and facilities. Enjoyed early morning walks on the beach and the interesting cliffs and sea birds. Enjoyed the walk to well stocked Spar in next village. Peaceful, despite being mid June. Would stay again.

I was glamping there twice and once in a caravan. I love this place, 2 min to the most beautiful beach. Relaxing camp site, bathroom block extremely clean. Lady Anna at the reception is very friendly and fun. People on site very respectful. Just amazing time.

Rented a lodge for four days. This place is brilliant. Our lodge was immaculate and well fitted out. Site near a small lake and close to a very good beach. Its dog friendly and has a pub/ restaurant on site. Best in area.

We stayed here for 3 nights on an electric tent pitch the ground was relatively level, the warden tries to make sure everyone leaves space so the views are unobstructed. No issues with the electric supply, fresh drinking water was close by and the Dish Wash Area, Toilets and Showers were clean and usable we didn't use the chemical toilet disposal so can't comment.

There's a smAll shop on the site mainly selling Toys, Sweets, Drinks and Ice Lolly's. They're missing a trick with noe Eggs, Bacon, Sausage and Milk though.

We visited briefly during the evening of Bank Holiday Monday. Free parking was for half an hour, so we ate our sandwich, looked at the gorgeous estuary views and left. For £5, you can park, collecting a token from the shop, but as it was later on, the shop was closed.
Clean, well - maintained toilets.

Just returned from another amazing holiday at my most favourite place Sandyhills! I've been going to Sandyhills since I was a child and now that I am an adult I regularly return with my partner and 2 children to show them the amazing place I used to go. The site is very well maintained and the toilets and showers are regularly cleaned throughout the day. The staff are so friendly and helpful and always make us feel welcome when we arrive and look forward to seeing us again soon when we leave. It has a beautiful beach with stunning views and fantastic walks straight out of your tent. What more do you need! Amazing place and amazing staff. Thank you once again for our lovely stay and we all look forward to seeing you soon!

We love Sandyhills, the beach is great.

£5 to park for the day really isn't a problem.

There is a well stocked shop where you can get some snacks and drinks as well as beach toys and equipment.

The staff are always really happy and friendly and it is a perfect place to stay.

Sandyhills is a pretty amazing place, with a beautiful camping site that has all the important facilities for washing/toilet/showering. The toilets are cleaned twice a day and the site is well maintained and clean. The bay is epic with beautiful magic coves all around it and surrounded by hills and forests. The only pity is that the high tide lasts for about 3 hours and this is only time to swim or enjoy water sports, in between high tides water recedes for miles upon miles.I would definitely come back here for another camping break.

We stopped in the off chance that we could spot some caves and gave our dogs a stretch on the sand.

It costs £5 to park, which is fair enough and the shop is stocked full of ice creams and drinks.

If you go left there is sand as far as the eye can see... If you go right the sand continues but is dotted with caves and arches.

A fantastic place to go for a lovely walk.

Fantastic place, always clean and tidy, quite basic onsite facilities but that's what we wanted. Really love the place. Highly recommended to everyone!
