Rosyth Castle Ruins

A very worthwhile visit to see the Abby and it's intricate stone carvings.

Beautiful ruins just a huge shame you can't really get close or go in, place is surrounded by building sites

Great old castle although in a secure location so unable to wander about it too much.

At the entrance of a dock yard. We asked permission at the gate before entering. Nice old ruin.

Rosyth castle ruins is a unique one, it is privately owned but does not fall under the jurisdiction of the guard at the industrial site gate so is free to access and there is street parking right next to the site

Although the site itself and building are rather lovely ruins

The surrounding environment is ruined a little by the nearby industrial centre

Hidden charms in this part of the world, but they are here.
