The Garden Tea Rooms

We visited the Garden Tea Rooms near Saint Michael and All Angels Church and Witley Court on July 1st. The tea rooms are located close to the church.

Our drive to the church took us past some beautiful countryside. It is a lovely property with ample seating both in a garden, a conservatory, and a traditional room.

The menu is suitable for a light lunch and there are several delightful cakes and beverages to choose from.

The service at the tea room is great. We have been here a few times and we are always treated with a smile.

We had the quiche of the day with salad. The quiche was very good and apparently is made fresh daily.

What a lovely relaxing beautiful place to spend some time! Absolutely amazing selection of dietary requirement good gluten free cakes, vegan cake and sandwiches etc
Great selection of teas and coffee. Very friendly service. God friendly all round great experience.

Traditional café with plenty of outdoor/indoor seating. Pretty standard fare as expected, except for the cabinet full of yummy cakes. Pictures, cards and pottery displayed inside which adds to the atmosphere of charm.

Been twice in the last two weeks and have to say the scones are superb. They also do damn fine coffee. Service is great with happy cheerful staff even when rushing around.

Just wanted to say what a fabulous afternoon we had celebrating the forthcoming wedding of Nikki. All members of your staff were so helpful, lovely and we couldn’t have felt more welcome. The ‘high tea’ that we had was gorgeous - and so helpful with all dietary requirements we had.

This place is fantastic. Visited after Witley Court for lunch. Paninis, cake and tea all delicious and lovely friendly staff who also made our dogs very welcome. Catered very well for a vegan and non. Will definitely be back soon.

Lovely tea room. Plenty of space to sit in the garden and appreciate the beautiful plantings. Vegan and Gluten-free options and dog friendly in the garden.

This is a lovely place for lunch or coffee and cake! Beautiful setting. Very well organised. Really impressed by the kids working there. Constantly on the go, friendly and good attention to cleaning detail. Pick a table with the chairs tipped up. These tables and chairs have been cleaned. Good choice is sandwiches, cakes and scones with jam and cream, and drinks. We had a ham sandwich between us and a scone each to make a little cream tea. Delicious!

What a fabulous place! We had a birthday afternoon tea for 20 of us yesterday and nothing was too much trouble for this friendly team. Food was excellent and we wanted for nothing. We were supposed to sit in the conservatory but the weather was so lovely we asked to be moved outside in the shade which I’m sure caused some havoc but it was all done with smiles. Thank you once again- I had a fabulous time. X

It's a lovely place with a range of good interesting food and good service in the most beautiful of settings.

Just be careful of your cars health on the unmade roads leading to the tea rooms!

Fabulous food. Many choices for all, including a number of vegetarian and vegan options. Reasonably priced and good service.

A lovely garden setting the perfect mood for afternoon tea and lunches.

A perfect English country tea room. Delicious lunches, cakes and cream teas. The staff are friendly and welcoming and although it was quite busy and we had to queue everything was well organised and we got our food pretty quickly. It has a large, beautiful outside area and 2 inside areas to sit.

Wonderful cream tea - gluten free options available!!! Lovely friendly staff and very swift service. We had a lovely little stop here on our journey to South Wales. We had been to the house prior to going to the tea rooms. We sat outside as inside is rather warm (or it was the day we went!!)

Had a lovely tea this afternoon in the conservatory for my Mum's Birthday. Delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes all really fresh.

My husband and I were exploring beautiful Whitley Court and popped in to the Garden Tea Room. What a warm and welcoming place! Lots of indoor seating and had a lovely buzz of chatter going on. I ordered their quiche and salad. I ate every morsel it was really delicious. My husband's panini was eaten with equal relish. We both had a good cappuchino. All served with a smile - a genuine smile.
Oh and I bought a jar of local honey also excellent.
We will go back.

Love sitting in the garden on a sunny day. Great light bites, well presented by friendly staff. It gets busy quickly, but it's worth the wait.

Gill and the staff at The Garden Tea Rooms are absolutely wonderful. They did me proud with a fantastic afternoon tea, supporting me on a very special occasion and I cannot thank them enough.

This is more of a thank you than a review. Whilst walking for Witley house to the tearooms my partner had a fall, cutting her leg. The team we very helpful, washing and administering first aid to her. We didn’t catch the ladies name who assisted, and I’ll I can remember is that she wore Dr Martin boots!! So whoever you were, thank you so much.

The drinks and cakes that we had after the incident were lovely.

Lovely, relaxing place, always eat in the garden. A good selection of sandwiches and drinks, good service.
