The Forty Twa Cafe

Great burger, quite a cozy place lost in the middle of Cowdenbeath.
A pleasant surprise, went in with no expectations and will return. Surely, now that I got to understand what the Mac and cheese burger actually is, I'll get only the meat version, lol.

Very friendly staff. Only had a cold filled roll and pot of tea. But was very nice and well presented. I like the military and veteran connection too. Nice to see veteran doing well for himself. Keep up tge good work. Thank you from A Veteran too

Out first visit, and my friend and me agreed it wouldn't be our last. We both had doubler breakfast rolls. The fillings, and the roll were really good, and our coffees were of a good strength.
The prices on the menu are reasonable, and I did notice some of the other food ordered, it all looked nice, and it wasn't skimpy portions.
The cafe was clean, and decorated with a Forty Twa theme, of what I presume is some of the owners memeorabilia . We did have a grumble that it was quite cold, and did not appear to have any decent heating. Maybe a couple of wall mounted infrared heaters could solve this.
Would definitely say pop in and try it out.

18/10/23 breakfast delicious all butcher products from a good local butcher, totally worth it, as very reasonable price support you locals. Lovely staff.

29.03.24 amount fantastic butcher quality fry up with my mother. Best cafe in cowdenbeath quick service today at times can be a bit slow, and when waiting on a breakfast bring the tea with the breakfast not 20 mins before it. I will always use this cafe the food is lovely and the staff are great brilliant wee place quality grub

Absolutely amazing baked potato and roll bacon egg and tattie scone was amazing

Very friendly cafe with staff taking time out to chat with you. Meals are tasty and plenty on your plate. Menu is mouth watering and won't break the bank when ordering.

What can I say wow food was dynamite I got double burger and chips very good tasty, partner got chicken in honey sauce that was amazing couldn't stop eating it think this will be our new place to eat also first time their and support the black watch which is amazing

Wow, that has to be the best breakfast we have ever had out in Scotland while living here. Amazing food and very friendly staff.
