Muircot Farm Shop is a gem nestled above Tillicoultry thereby providing wonderful views of there and the Ochills. Generous portions, pieces filled to bursting, gorgeous light cakes and baked goods in the cafe, and a good selection of items in the shop.
I can only say great things about the place and the staff. All friendly and helpful and constantly smiling because they work in a fab place.

Lovely spot for a quiet spot to eat, whilst looking at the beauty of the local hills.

The staff are friendly an attentive.

It can be busy at times, so can be an idea to reserve a table

Is this the best view I've ever experienced at a farm shop? Very possibly! But also: the bread I had with my lunch was so good, I have been thinking about it ever since, plus the tiramisu cake was also excellent.

This place is a rare find. A cafe that serves great food and amazing cakes. On the end side of the restaurant, there's a glass wall the overlooks the Ochil Hills. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The cheese souffle is superb and the chicken and leek pie was also great. The cakes are out of this planet, huge servings and they don't cost the earth. Lunch was finished with coffee, which was the only thing we managed to fit in our belly after such a big lunch. And the bill wasn't expensive at all! Totally worth the visit!

Love Muircot. Lovely owner Elaine. Friendly staff and good service. Always try to get you a table if you haven't booked, which is advisable as it's a very popular place. Plenty of parking. Clean toilets. Food is all homemade and is delicious.

Went here for the first time last week. Food was lovely. Great views of the Ochils. Would definitely visit again when I go back.

Edit Oct 2021... went for breakfast this morning before leaving Scotland to go home to England. I have to say it was the best breakfast I have had for a long time! The tomato ketchup used was lovely. Way better than Heinz. I bought a bottle from the farm shop. A brand called Stokes

We were lucky enough to be given a table that was booked, we had about 45 mins to order and eat and the staff delivered, we were ordering cakes to take away when we were told not to rush as a table had left and the people who booked got that table, we still took the cakes away as it was busy and, I understand why, the food was great, I had soup and a sandwich combo, it's a proper feed, and the cakes, oh boy, they are gooooood, well worth a visit, I will be back 😊😊

I am a regular visitor to the the muircot cafe and farm shop. I have never had a negative experience to date. The cafe itself is very well run, and due to its high popularity, you will find a lot of tables are booked in advance. If you want to avoid disappointment I would reccomend phoning ahead and booking a table.

I decided to sit outside today and take in the magnificent panoramic views on offer . The back 'garden' has benches and garden furniture to sit at and the area is well tended. A visit in May guarantees plenty of birds 🐦 flying backwards and forwards feeding their young. A pleasure for the eyes and ears.

The food and desserts are always up to an exceptionally high standard. I especially reccomend the sweet potato, lime and chilli soup. The soufflé (which has a 15 minute cook time) is also very tasty.

On the way out you can browse the locally sourced veg and other farm good from around the UK.

A lovely cafe with an amazing view over Tillicoultry Glen and the Ochil Hills. The sandwiches were really good and the sweets delicious. There was also a great selection of drinks including some locally produced lemonades. The small shop offers beautiful gifts as well as a number of local produce including meat and vegetables. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. A great place to visit at lunch or at tea time.

Lovely cafe with absolutely stunning views. Food was fantastic, couldn't fault anything. Lots of parking space out front.
Is very access friendly, they have a ramp for the door and accessable toilets, plus plenty of space between the tables.

The lemon meringue cake was amazing, my friend struggled to finish it, so I had to give her a hand as my Malteser tray bake wasn't that big:) however both were delicious 😋

Fabulous views from this lovely farm shop and café. We sat outside but the inside space looked great too- a large airy space with floor to ceiling windows to appreciate the gorgeous views. Good sandwiches and cakes as well. We will return!
