Our party of 9 adults, 2 children and 3 dogs have just enjoyed an amazing Sunday lunch at the Oddfellows.
The beef was a tasty melt in your mouth experience and the chicken was tender and delicious. The children were treated to smaller portions of the main meals. Everything was piping hot and quickly served at the same time tor a large group.
The bar serves an excellent selection of cask ales and keg beers with an extensive wine list.
The dining areas are tastefully decorated and very comfortable.
A special mention for the friendly staff who ensured our visit was memorable.
Well done to all concerned.

We popped in for a meal as we were in the village for the Potato Day. We were taken with the place as soon as we walked in. Emma and her team were marvellous and I couldn't fault them. As for the food, the beef we had was perfect.
We will definitely be going back there and would recommend it to anyone

Emma & team are the best. We were a party of 34 celebrating a special birthday & wedding anniversary. Nothing was too much. The food was delicious. The service was spot on and the pub is welcoming. Nothing to fault - would recommend. Thank you for having us.

Went for Suday lunch, large group of 9, we booked a table, we were late (15 mins) but were still greeted pleasantly and served quickly. Food was amazing, couldn't fault it. One of the best Sunday dinners I have had, would've liked a little more on the plate but other than that faultless.

We have been here a couple of times whilst staying at Wallace Lane Farm. It never disappoints. This time there were four of us - three of which opted for the fish and chips - WHICH WAS EPIC. Great pub and would absolutely recommend. 👍👍👍

One of the best pubs in the area, great atmosphere, food, and service. Very dog friendly in the bar (where you can eat) and a non-dog dining room too - best of both worlds. The bar is always humming with activity and it is so welcoming. The food is always amazing and ranges from standard pub food to some really interesting dishes that spice things up a bit for those looking for something different

Had a fabulous evening of fine dining with a Valentines day 7 course taster menu. Chef James & the team were outstanding. Can't wait for the next one!

Lovely little traditional pub with welcoming staff, good choice of food, roaring fires and not overly busy. Nice to see fussy eaters are catered for with plain burgers and the selection of board games seemed to have all their pieces intact.

Dropped in for post walk drinks. Excellent pint. Didn't have food but what I saw being served looked fab. Staff were lovely too, really pleasant.

Great pub.
The staff were really hard working, on top of their game, and super attentive without being overbearing. The food we had was great. We came here last year too around the same time, and the standard was really high then too - so it's consistent. Hats off to the management for the friendly atmosphere and customer satisfaction.
The staff comprehensively knew the menu - and everyone seemed to care about their customers and their work. There's really nothing to say but positives .

Great country pub. Haven't had a bad meal there and the warm pork scratchings on the bar are so addictive.

Fantastic pub and very friendly. Food is absolutely delicious, freshly made and generous portions. Lots of great gluten free and dairy free or vegan options which is so hard to find in pubs. Also dog friendly and in a lovely little village. Definitely recommend visiting and we will be returning if we are in the area again!

A fantastic find of a pub in the wonderful village of Caldbeck. They kindly managed to squeeze us in even though we hadn’t booked and they were busy. The food was outstanding - even the children’s chicken nuggets were homemade, with really good quality chicken breast inside (not the usual reconstituted stuff). The adults had the Three Moos burger, falafel salad, fish and chips and pan fried chicken breast with mash, all of which were perfectly cooked, presented beautifully and came in very hearty portions. Highly recommend!

Amazing food, and good value for money. They went above and behind as we didn't turn up until 20:45 without a booking, very accommodating, enjoyed the setting and the atmosphere was really good to! Would highly recommend. To top it off, we came away with a new coat hanger from what I can only presume is a local very talented craftsmen.
