Always love it here! Food always feash and honest. Amazing decor and very polite happy staff, menu selection is vast and yummy with smaller meals if your not so hungry. They offer a children's menu and even breakfasts in the morning but you have to get in there quick once they sell out there gone. It's a very lovely place and worth the money

We have visited the larder a couple of times in the last couple of weeks. We initially visited because they allow well behaved dogs in. Each visit they have given excellent service and the food, different choices each visit, has also been cooked and served excellently. Each visit they have not forgotten our fur babies either and have provided water for them without prompting. We deffinatly recommend them and will be back very soon. Well done to all the staff. Xxx

Brilliant. Love the war-time decor. Some really interesting items. I also think it would be a great place to bring an older person suffering memory problems as so much to prompt long term memories.
Great home-cooked 'comfort' food, reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Lovely place, friendly staff and great cake and milkshake today was my first visit but my Husband often goes in on Saturday with the Girls for milkshake and they love looking at all the interesting things in there and the Tea and Earl grey very good. Love that a custard cream is waiting on the saucer with it. It's a full of character place I love that chairs are all different and tables. Relaxing change from run of the mill chains like Costa.

I've been here 3 or 4 times in the last month. The food is freshly cooked, lots of variety on the menu, well presented and excellent value for money. The staff are very friendly and the selection of memorabilia adds to the experience. Well worth a visit and I would definitely recommend it

Delicious breakfast. We went round the corner to the butcher after to buy some bacon to take home.

Lovely decor with a wartime theme. Nice cosy environment.

Very good value also.

Lovely pot of tea served, by nice friendly staff. The music playing and the nostalgia of the 40's interior was very relaxing. Will definitely call again next time we visit Atherstone....The two sisters from Coventry.....

This is a fantastic place to eat. Don't be fooled in thinking it is a place where only a certain age go for their breakfast or lunch. It is a place you can go to no matter what your age. They serve the everyday jacket potatoes and sandwiches but it's not what people flock for. Try one of their locally produced sausages with mash peas or beans. A home made pie with mash or even a spam fritter. Perhaps washed down with dandelion and burdock or a camp coffee. You won't regret giving it a try and experiencing the 1940's in vision, sound and taste.

A lovely cafe in 1940's guise. There is a lot of period touches, homely, served at the table and good food and drinks at good prices. Friendly and great atmosphere. My first visit and I was impressed, I want to go again when visiting Atherstone.

FANTABULOSA!!

A wonderful experience, good food, great staff, real attention to detail.
Just can't fault it at all. It is a 1940's themed cafe well done for being different.
Don't expect 'posh' (whatever that is) it is so much better than posh for being
a relaxed eating experience. A real joy. We shall be back.

Many thanks to you all at the The larder Cafe Atherstone.

Second world war themed cafe with a menu that would not be out of place in war time. War memorabilia hangs on the walls making it double as a museum. Very popular with the older generation. Parking is free at the local leisure centre, railway station side of the town. Staff friendly, attentive and dress in the clothing of the period.

Wonderful place, spam fritters, dripping on toast, metal plates, old cutlery, China etc. Amazing artifacts from WW1 and WW2. Memories bought to life in so many pictures and items displayed. Wartime music played whilst you enjoy the nostalgia.

Popped in for tea and cake. Ended up with Ovatine and treacle sponge. I’d class that as a win
