Food For Thought

Food was SO good! The Parmesan fries, wow! My husband said it was the best omelette he’d ever had! The Bakewell slice was so good! I would have happily eaten more! Lovely cafe with friendly staff and great food, highly recommend a visit :) we will definitely be back when visiting Cardigan again.

Nice little cafe in the middle of Cardigan. We went at lunch and had to wait 10 minutes for a table but after that we weren't rushed at any point. Drinks and food order were taken promptly and food was lovely, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

With a good range of food and drinks, there is also a special board with a good selection of food!

There is 1 toilet that can cause a bit of a backlog at times!

Overall, I am very impressed, and we will return!

The lovely relaxing atmosphere made this a great place to stop for lunch during our day out in Cardigan. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was really delicious. The menu and specials board looked varied and appetising. It was a cold day so we opted for the chilli loaded fries and a burger. Both were fantastic, made with good quality ingredients. Would definitely recommend.

Always make sure we visit when in Cardigan. The food is delicious. Freshly made and locally sourced. There is always a specials board with something different. Cakes are mouth-watering! Staff are lovely. Highly recommend a visit.

Had a really lovely lunch. We had fishcakes special and the bacon, brie and chilli jam panini, both were delicious. The staff are always great and it's a really comfortable and pleasant place.
Always enjoy visiting when we are in Cardigan.

We usually stop here for a drink or lunch when visiting Cardigan. Great local cafè with a good selection on their menu. Check the 'specials board' too. Great service from friendly staff and the place is clean and always busy. Will definitely continue to use.

Been coming here for 20 odd years, went this week and simply couldn't fault the food (fishcakes, quiche, cawl and hot beef club) service was very quick, less than 10 mins for food to arrive. Also very much enjoyed my cappuccino which is so often a fail in other places. Well done FFT.

This was our first time here and it was fantastic, the burger was outstanding and my wife thought her food was also great and full of flavour, there's plenty of room to sit, in or out and it's also wheelchair friendly. The young guy with the fancy belt buckle was great and we would definitely visit again when in the area 👍great all round service.

Added note: the amount of different cups of tea they do is brilliant, there is something for everyone, no matter where in the world you are from..

Fantastic service the food was delicious and staff very friendly. It's also nice they have a seating area whilst waiting for your turn to be seated for food. Kids meals great also!

Really nice food, they offered meat, fish and vegan options. All four of us were very happy with the fresh produce and tasty meals, also great value for money as prices were very reasonable!

Been here about 8 times over 'several years' (Holiday visits) - this place is always doing good trade, and rightly do - it's REALLY good 👍

A must visit if you're passing through! I stayed in Cardigan for 10 days and ended up coming here almost every day.

Food was delicious (special mention to garlic mushrooms, squid, and burger) and the service incredibly warm and friendly. Great value as everything was fresh and local. Couldn't recommend enough.
