Had a great afternoon meal, the food was really good I had the solway burger which the owner had made fresh that morning, it was well cooked and tasted superb, it came with freshly cooked chips which were also superb - it's great to have freshly cooked chips rather than the frozen ones that a lot of places use now. I also recommend the cheesecake, again superb.
The staff were very friendly, attentive and polite, and the food was served in a timely manner, I would recommend this to all, we will definitely be coming back soon 👍

Had an all day breakfast and a beer on a lazy Sunday afternoon. The food was beautiful but the sausages were AMAZING. Highly recommended.

Lovely tea and a latte served with a couple of cream scones in a well furnished bar. What more could you wish for?

Two beautiful girls, one from Slovakia and the other on her first day, had smiles to melt the coldest of hearts when they served us our takeaway food on Friday. Great food and great service. Thank you.

An absolutely amazing place to eat and drink. The staff are super friendly and provide amazing service, their hospitality is something you don't come across much any more. Made us feel more than welcome from the moment we walked through the door. Thank you for your amazing service for the past 3 days. The food is also amazing.

Thoroughly enjoyed a family birthday meal here. Lovely peaceful surrounding and the bistro was cosy, very clean and inviting. Despite there being a lot of meals ordered, each one arrived hot, well-presented and tasted delicious. Really good value for money. Special mention to our waitress, Michelle, who worked really hard, was very professional and is definitely a credit to the team. Will definitely return.

We ended up staying at Hunters due to the Kings Arms cancelling our booking two weeks before we were due to start the Hadrians Wall Path. It worked out perfectly. We ate in the bistro and the home cooked lasagne was absolutely delicious and the following morning we had a mega breakfast, which turned out to be the best breakfast out of all of our nine B&B's stays
Well done to Michelle and her team

A fantastic place for food at the end of the Hadrian Wall walk. The homemade Lasagna was amazing and very reasonably priced. Friendly staff too - recommended.

A great start to our hike back to Tynemouth. Staff were very accommodating with my diet choices and made a nice coffee.
Bonus is that they have a decent selection of beers too!

I’ll come back again

Called in yesterday with my friend in the midst of our bike ride. First time here and certainly won't be the last. We both had the cheese pie with chips and veg. Honestly it was the best I've ever tasted! Cheesy pie was cheesy & buttery and 'really chips! Even the vegetables on the side were so tasty with a lovely pot of tea. We sat outside on the terrace under the sun canopy and could've sat all day. The inside was really cool and refreshing away from the sun too and the decor was unexpected lol. You need to check it out for yourselves, you'll be pleasantly surprised lol. Wonderfully clean place and friendly, attentive staff
I live about 30 miles away and would travel in the car for a meal here. Try it

Went in after a walk along the coast path to have some lunch. So glad we did it was fantastic . I had the venison pie and had to fight my way through the meat.and the suet pastry was excellent. My wife had the lasagna and was very impressed with it. I would recommend it to any one for good service food and staff

I stopped by for lunch during a long bike ride. It is very welcoming and I ordered a cheese and ham panini with an Americano. Both were served promptly and tasted delicious. It is a modern, clean, bright, and airy café that I intend to visit again.

Found this little place on our way to our camp site and what a great find it was. The guy running it was brilliant and got our trip off to a great start!
We were lucky with the weather so we sat outside on the benches and had a delicious curry, so good we returned again for breakfast in the morning. Thanks again! See you next year. Emily :)
