Quayside Fish & Chips

Fantastic cod and chips. Cooked to order for us at 4pm. The cod was big and the batter beautiful and actually stayed hot and crispy until we got to our cottage in Low Hauxley. Staff very friendly too
And anyone who thinks £9.20 for a piece of cod is expensive needs to see what fishermen do for a living.
Worth every penny

The smell matches the taste! Fish, chips and a sausage fed the four of us. Great quality, efficient service and even paper towels to dry the benches. Well worth it and we will be back!

Down on Amble harbour you will find tucked away a great tasting chippy. Seats outside for a sunny day. There's nothing greater than to hear the voices of Folk in conversation while enjoying their bait.

Best fish and chips I have had in years. We both had the haddock and chips special which included mushy peas and a pot of tea for £12. Fish was beautifully cooked with crispy batter and delicious fish. Chip portion just the right size not piled on at the expense of a small fish. Service could of been a little better but they were very busy on the day. Would highly recommend. Great value for money.

Very pleasant visit. Superb coffee lush fish and chips. Outstanding customer toilets. A nice visit. A place we would visit again, many eating options in Amble.

Always pretty busy in the summer but never feels rushed. Foods delicious with good portions and perfect amount of salt and vinegar added.

Yummy fish and chips. Take out (sat outside on the benches) It was busy, but got served pretty quick. I would def come back again if I'm in back in Amble. Paid just over 10 quid for a large fish & chips. Well worth it. The only thing missing was it being served in a newspaper.

Very tasty and well priced, classic chippy menu. The food is never greasy and the portions are generous.

I found it easy getting elderly grandparents into the seating area and the customer toilets were useful too.

Dropped in soaking wet with 2 very wet children, scooters and a buggy. Were made very welcome, shown and helped to store buggy out of the way. Had two lovely huge portions of chips. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean surroundings, crockery etc.
