Drinks & cake after a lovely walk in local Hembury Woods. Served by friendly attentive staff. All ingredients were homemade, fresh & tasty. Certainly worth a visit .........

What an absolutely wonderful experience at the Singing Kettle. We came here a few years ago for coffee and teas and loved the experience. The back garden is a lovely place to sit. Glad we came back for food this time as we weren’t disappointed. The burger was one of the most tasty and juicy I’ve ever had. My partner loved her tuna mayo jacket potato and the scones were delicious. The service is top notch, very friendly and efficient. Will definitely return next time we’re in Devon.

Had a lovely afternoon tea in the garden. Perfect selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones. Nice gluten free option. Very good value for money and service was lovely (including ice in a water bottle refill).

Best oat cappuccino I’ve had in England so far. Very friendly staff and clientele, such a cute place. I ordered eggs on toast and they offered me extra veggie sausages and extra slice of bread.

`the cream tea was absolutely divine.. freshly baked with quite a wide choice of food. It was a bit noisy on our visit but who can help having a crying baby? Only 2 people were on staff and so service was slow but I'm sure its not like that always.. Our new 'go to' when we want a proper cream tea. Cream was locally sourced... absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this

Really good quality, tasty food and great friendly service. A suitable amount of choice and good value. We enjoyed two afternoon teas (on different days!) in their peaceful little patio and garden, with the hills in the background. Highly recommend.

We stopped off here after a two day hike on Dartmoor – I have to say the place is extremely welcoming and attentive, and the food was excellent. A little hidden gem that was a very welcome relief to these two tired travellers.

We were so happy to find this place as we were travelling home. Lovely cafe, beautifully decorated. The lady serving was really nice and the food was lovely. My son had a mocha with soy milk, who said it was just how he liked it. We had a Pork Platter between the two of us which was just lovely and enough for a light bite. They very kindly packed a scone with cream and jam for me as my son is dairy intolerant and I try not to eat dairy when he can't. Just wished I lived there!

Went for a Sunday Roast with my mum and seven year old son. The dinner was really tasty. Proper home cooked roast. Very reasonably priced and they did a childs version too at a lesser price. The staff were really friendly and the decor was quaint. Definitely planning to return.

Best cream tea (plain scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam) that I've had outside of Claridge's in London. Absolutely legit.
