Fish Loves Chips

Simple fish, chips and a sausage for the dogs.

The fish was lovely and flaky, and the chips nice, fat and not soggy.

Only preference would be if they had Dandelion & Burdock avaliable.

We got cod and chips with mushy peas all came in box, paper bag freshly cooked fish to order all recyclable apart from pea pot, tasted great reasonable price by today's standard.

Chicken curry half and half, oh wow nicest chicken curry ever. And not too much either, perfect size portion. Not our local chippy but we'll be back next time we're in the area,

Picked up some fish and chips to take down to the beach tonight. Kids meal boxes were great, just the right size and nice pieces of fish. Scampi and.cod n chips both lovely. Handy to have them served in more solid cardboard boxes too , easier for children to manage.

Chicken curry 1/2 rice 1/2 chips on the dinner special is to die for. The chicken is marinated, the rice had a lovely lemon flavour, all for £4.80p. Try it, you won't be disappointed. Highly recommended. Thanks.

I was first customer of the day but it was all ready to go Absolutely belting peas were unbelievable none that watered down stuff you get at other places fish was very tasty too, really friendly lad, would definitely go back.

Freshly fried fish with a crispy coat.
It was definitely worth looking for.
The shop entrance was being refurbished so the signs were taken down. Google maps took us to the location but we had to find where it was exactly.
Asking around from a shop owner eventually revealed the entrance.
The staff were friendly and courteous. Quick to attend to our order and answer our questions. Brilliant service!
The delight of eating it on the beach was a memory I'll cherish.
I very highly and happily recommend that you visit them whenever you visit it live in Southport!

Lovely fresh and crispy Fish and Chips. Freshly cooked and amazing. The staff were very friendly and advised that a probably didn't need the large chips as a regular sized portion was quite bit. Will definitely return next time i visit Ainsdale beach.

called in this chip shop a couple of weeks ago and had the best chips I have found in this area in fifteen years .
Told my wife and returned this week for our tea once again 5 star food with pleasant staff it is worth the trip to collect if you order online .

The food here is excellent. Freshly cooked and didn't have to wait very long even though it was busy. It's very close to Ainsdale railway station so if heading back to Liverpool from Southport it's very easy to hop off the train on the way.

Love the food. Mushy peas are great. The special is a must, perfect portion size

I live in Ainsdale and use this takeaway around once every two to three weeks. I'm so glad it's my local! The food is always good and the staff are very friendly and attentive.
We have also used the restaurant a couple of times and again it is excellent!
It's so nice to have a chippy that sells good chips rather than pizzas, kebabs, Chinese meals etc. My personal favourite is the deep fried haggis!

Fantastic food. This is NOT the same poor chippy from a few years ago. If you've not been here in the last year, it's time for a return visit.
The owner cares about the quality of his food and it shows in the taste. Easily as good as The Busy Bee and a great addition to the village.
