Smyths Toys Superstores Stevenage

The choice was good across there baby range,(they didn't have the top range of buggies but that was fine with me) also well priced. We were helped by Cam who couldn't be more helpful and knowledgeable. He didn't rush and helped us with all our questions. I Highly recommed coming here for first time parents.

I've been served by Cam today, what an amazing person. Helped me with my buggy and went beyond just working there. He definitely is the person that will make sure all customers are happy. What an example of a wonderful person. Shop itself very clean, very friendly staff, and great range of toys, bikes and everything you need for nursery

Always good selection on yu gi oh & pokemon cards,which makes my sons day. I'd appreciate a bit of organising on the funko pops. When trying to find what I'd like,seeing Mickley mouse next to vegeta does maje it hard to find groups,especially when they arnt priced on the boxs but shelf sections (which they arnt in!)

Really good experience recently. Always been our local toy shop and recently I had an issue with a bike bought in another of their locations. They kindly sorted the issue without fuss, exchanged the item and made sure I was happy with the solution before cracking on.

Never had issues with the store being crowded, always stocked well, decent offers. Can't complain, even if the kids bleed my bank dry!

I visited on Friday 26tg August 2022.

I was after a car seat for my 6 year old and was assisted by 2 members of staff who were extremely friendly, helpful and truly went above and beyond, including inshore demonstration and in car demonstration.

I believe the ladies name was Evelyn? But can't remember the guys name.

Both are an asset to the store and really know their stuff when it comes to car seats and safety.

Would just like to say a huge thank you to the manager Ross for his assistance yesterday. Our pram we’d bought in October last year was either faulty or had broken, and he very kindly assisted us in exchanging it for a new one. Couldn’t ask for a better service, very grateful, thank you!

I visited this store with my dad on Thursday. I was looking to buy a video game and I wanted some advice as my dad didn’t exactly know what he was talking about. We asked William at the desk and he was very helpful. He gave his advice and made sure my dad bought the right games. We will be coming back! 😄

Had everything we needed for our Grandchildrens Christmas 🎄🎁

I went in for a few Xmas presents which I needed assistance with. The two young lads who assisted me with the two items I wanted were a breath of fresh air. Both were extremely polite and helpful. Encounters like these leave a positive impression, I just wish I'd noted their names. Keep up the good work🙂

The staff at the stevenage store were amazingly helpful, they went above and beyond what we expected! We bought a kids bike (the scrambler style one) it's so badly designed my son couldn't ride it! We took it back and thought we was going to have problems but the staff couldn't have been more helpful we managed to find a bike for my son that he could ride and the exchange of products couldn't have been done any faster!! Thankyou so much my son loves his new bike ❤

A REVISED REVIEW
This store DOES have a large selection of bicycles and ride-ons, especially scooters.
AND there ARE child seats and push-chairs/buggies.
Located opposite the old Toys'R'Us building and alongside Hobbycraft, the new Smyths Toys Superstore is a breath of fresh air for Stevenage.
I went on a reconnaissance to find the store and was amazed at how big it is. It's nicely laid out and has alot of large Lego.
I asked a young lady if there were any other Battleship games than the one we found. She looked it up on the website and informed me that there was only one type. About a minute later my eyes came across a computer battleship game, about six feet away from the first one. The staff need to be more product aware.
But, wow, what a store! Good prices too.
They also have PS4, X-Box and Nintendo games and consoles.

I made the school boy error of not paying attention to what I was meant to be buying and simply asked my wife to Whartsapp a list over. My mobile battery ran out.
John managed to make out what I needed and help make the correct purchases so I was not in the dog house.
