The Roma Fish Bar (Townhill)

I have been getting fish and chips for my father every week since lockdown, and this is the only place he will let me get them from! Fantastic fish and chips, much cheaper than most others, and the staff are brilliant, always have a smile on their face. Best Irish curry sauce in Swansea.

Lovely food delivered piping hot, I had the chip butty with curry sauce my only suggestion for this a little bit more curry would’ve been nice.

My wife had Cod and chips wish she said was amazing and in my daughters words the sausage and chips was “Amaaaaazing! Better than (other local chippy)” which was her favourite up until trying Roma

A great place for fish and chips. The regular portions are really huge, reasonably priced too.

Have been a regular here for several years, really pleasant attentive staff, fabulous chips, food always hot and fresh and cooked how you want it. Great chippy.

I ordered 17 portions of fish and chips for an occassion, all of which were amazing and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The customer service impeccable. The manager couldn't do enough to ensure everything was perfect. Thank you to the whole team! Will be back again soon!

Excellent fish and chips , very reasonable prices and friendly staff. A cheeky portion of curry sauce is also recommended. The food quality is perfect . We pass other chipoies on route to get to this one!

I have been going to the Roma for over 30 years and didn't realise until recently that they have branched out to Townhill. Still the great food you would expect from both Gorseinon shops and not too bad on the price either. Staff were friendly with the only downside was there was no Joan behind the counter 😂.

Went to Roma Townhill tonight for the first time. I was told it’s THE BEST chippy in the city! It certainly IS the best I’ve been to! Beautiful food! 5 stars from me and my family. It’ll be our ‘go to’ chippy from now on.

We stayed overnight in Swansea and didn't have time to go and sit down and dine anywhere. We don't like to go to the well known fast food burger places or the numerous kebab/bruger take away places. So we looked for a traditional fish & chip shop and were delighted to find the Roma Fish Bar not far from where we were staying. The owner and staff greeted us and were very friendly and above all the fish and chips were fresh and fantastic. Would definitely recommend and will visit again next time in Swansea.

Haven't been here for a few months but called in with the family for a sit down meal. I had the curry which was very nice, the kids had sausage and chips they enjoined there's too. I would definitely recommend eating here plus the price is good too.

The Roma Fishbar is probably one of the best traditional chippies in Swansea. It is immaculately clean, the staff are friendly and generous and the food is always delicious. They take card payments on any orders over £4. The menu is extensive. My family love the fish bites. You can order the famous batch and chips here, which is half a traditional round loaf, hollowed out and stuffed with chips. Highly recommended.

Fresh food cooked constantly, a very clean and well run professional chip shop. Customer service is at the top level ...tatsy food, well prepared in a clean surroundings all in all 10 out of 10 I I call there a couple of times a week on my way home from work ... Top Chip Shop....

Lovey Fish and chips in the Roma fish bar! I also like the steak and Kidney pie with Chips aswell which i go up there Regularly in the Roma Fish Bar in Swansea ( Townhill Fish bar !) I also go to the others but this one in Townhill is my Local. Good value for money and very friendly staff.

Best chips I have had in a long time...

Don't live near this chip shop but the drive is worth it. The best fish and chips every time. A real treat. The staff are always busy, it's sparling clean
