I had a policy for four years through Stuart Collins, their customer service was always excellent. Despite not being a customer for many years now, it was no trouble for them to provide me with evidence of my history when asked. Thanks to this i managed to get a 25% discount on car insurance in another country. Not many companies that would be so helpful in these circumstances.

I have had an insurance policy with Start Collins now for almost 10 years as I work abroad a lot and decided to bring my UK car with me. Unlike most other companies that provided cover to drive on the continent etc, you do not have to bring your UK car back to the UK every year. I must have saved a fortune on car rental over the last 10 years.

I found Becky, David and all the team at Stuart Collins prompt, efficient and always a pleasure to deal with. It was always easy to contact them by email or phone - I'd always receive an email response the same day if a query was sent in the morning. -smthg which is a rarity these days for any company.

I did have to make a claim once and the claim was handled quickly, the car was shipped back to the UK and I received a check in the post. I would recommend them to anyone looking to work abroad and who is considering bringing their car. I have recommended them to a few fellow contractors and they have all been very happy with their policy and insurance.

One tip for anyone looking to do this, check in your policy that a replacement car will be provided in the case of an accident in the country that you are travelling to. I know it wasn't the case in Switzerland.

Living between France and the UK I came across this company by chance. Very professional and helpful. Main contact for me was Becky who was friendly, courteous and professional. I would and I have recommended Stuart Collins to friends and family both in the UK and on the continent. Great to speak to friendly staff.

I needed to make a change to the policy and so filled in the online form. But it was a bit complicated (ending insurance on one car and starting it on another). So I followed it up with a phone call. Jan in the office was helpful, straightforward and clear. She adjusted the details for my quote and the cost was less than I expected. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to go ahead immediately. Jan left the quote open. When I called back to go ahead, Jan was in the office and picked up the conversation. All sorted in about five minutes. If I sound like a fan, that's because I am. Insuring a car with UK plates when you want it to be insured for extended periods in other European countries can be expensive, complicated and with many firms simply impossible. This is my second time dealing with Stuart Collins. Maybe I've been lucky. But both times its been straightforward, quick and friendly.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Jan at Stuart Collins. She replied to my query quickly, and then again when I had questions. I considered the policy quite good value considering what it offers and the level of service I received. Yes it is more expensive than my previous policy but i'm very pleased. I'm sick of dealing with providers where I'm on hold forever or can't get a reply! This company are professional and responsive.

During 2020 I required european car insurance cover to commute to my home in Portugal. After approaching various Companies most of which couldn't provide the cover required I made contact with Mia at Stuart Collins & Co. She provided a suitable quotation within 20 mins of my call to her, placing me on cover and has continued to provide excellent customer service through the 2 year policy plan I held. Unfortunately my circumstances have now changed and I no longer require the same level of european cover. I would highly recommend Stuart Collin & Co (especially Mia) to arrange insurance to anyone.
