D J Whyman is local to us, we went to look at cars last Saturday, they have lots of cars in different price ranges and sizes.

Martin (believe he’s the salesman) came to greet us, really friendly, polite and professional, he gave us plenty time to look and think, took us out for the test drive, didn’t pressure us at all. He very clearly let us know the deal, after sale service, etc. He understood our situation and needs, he offered to lend us a car to use for free until the new car was ready (service, MOT)

The whole sale transaction was smoothly, easy and quickly. We had the best service and everything is peace of mind.

Definitely highly recommend to friends, family and everyone who looks for a car.

Steve really took care of me from the viewing of the car, to the purchase of it and made me feel at ease throughout. It was my first time buying a car and he was happy to take the time to explain the process of things and address any of my queries. Lovely people, I felt reassured and so happy with my car! After lots of shopping around and visiting many garages, we purchased a car (for my wife) from DJ Whyman in Leicester just before Christmas.
Martin was great throughout the whole process, professional, knowledgeable and relatable, we agreed the deal and was priced fairly for a great car.
So far the car has been great, just a couple of small issues that need to be sorted under the 3 month warranty, i just called Martin and its booked in already.

So after taking the car back for the small issues, they were sorted under the 3 month standard warranty with no problems, courtesy car provided too.
all in all a positive experience compared to some we've had over the years.

Absolutely outstanding!! We brought a lovely ford cmax, yes we had a few problems the first month, but the staff was exceptional and repaired our car and gave us a curtesy car whilst repairs being done.

All staff are extremely professional. Martin is just brilliant 👌..... I have also worked in the hospital with Mr dj wymans daughter in law!!! Honestly, a great bunch of people x

I just want to say: you may gather as much information as you can about the car you want to buy, be it MOTs, inspections, your mechanic's opinions etc. but lastly it all comes down to how trustworthy and honest the dealer is. Found a couple little things after (cosmetic) and they repaired without any question, for a used car sale, this is extraordinary in my opinion.

Bought my Fiesta from them a couple of years ago and it's been fantastic. Minor issue at the start with the steering which the guys fixed quickly with no fuss under warranty, and it's been absolutely fine ever since. The guys are friendly and approachable but not 'sales-y' - they don't badger or pester you. They also dont buy category cars so you can be confident that what You're buying is safe. Would definitely buy from them again.

I bought my last car from this garage many years ago and it was the best, most reliable car I ever owned. I went back today to look for another car as my other one finally got too old (03 plate). The service is warm and friendly and they are very helpful.

I purchased a vehicle from JD Whyman recently without even viewing the car due to COVID-19 concerns. The vehicle was exactly as described to me over the phone and I purchased my used Peugeot 207 cc on its description from Steve in sales.
I can confirm that it was a haste free experience from start to finish and exceeded all my expectations.
On a drive to Italy in the car, I noticed that the info screen was not functioning correctly, it was missing pixels. A replacement was purchased by the garage and Steve sent it directly to me abroad where I replaced it myself with little effort.
I can unreservedly recommend purchasing from this garage and I am sure I will do so again in the future.

Picked up my new corsa today. And cant thank D J Whyman cars enough. Great service and great cars too choose from. Was even driven to the local post office, as we where having trouble getting my tax to register at the office. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back in the future, and will be recommending to all my family and friends

Really good honest garage for a range of cars. They have plenty of higher end cars but they do have some cheap part ex's too. I've always had good experiences with this garage and they are really willing to help. If you're in the general area looking for a car this is the one to check first.
