We visited a couple of times over the past couple of years, which was initially recommended by a couple of very good friends who have a static caravan on this site . We really like this family-friendly site, so much so we decided to buy a caravan here. It's that popular it took over a year to get a plot with a static caravan. The owners are brill and looked after us on our very first stay over in our new property. For Eg, putting the heating on to toast the place up before our arrival on this cold and December day. The Barn were stars, looking after us with great food and beverages, even after we missed the initial restaurant hours. 😋
We look forward to our continued visits and stop overs.
Yours Gino & Tracey.

Couldn't get closer to the sea if you tried!

Facilities are spotless.

Our touring caravan is on the rally field permanently and we love it! The sea view and lush Welsh hills are lovely to see every time I look out the window in the morning, gorgeous sight to wake up to. Kids love the beach, play park and freedom to move around the site with friends they have made here. The Barn pub & restaurant are great for the afternoon or evening entertainment and kids play area is big enough to keep kids engaged for hours! On site facilities are good and staff are friendly and very helpful. Near garage has great shop to stock up on essentials and it's only a short walk away. Nearby villages and city of Aberystwyth are short drive away so there is plenty to do locally.

Third visit what's not to love, sea front pitch ,best showers on a site I've ever used. Sunsets were stunning ,and woke up to see a couple of dolphins playing. Red kites everywhere, great location for walks and to use as a base. Really is a fantastic site.

We recently spent 8 nights here in a mobile caravan. What a stunning setting!
Our van was just a short, 30 second walk from the reception and facilities building. Showers were lovely and warm and I never had to queue, possibly because I went in the early evening. Amazing views over the bay and we were treated to a sunset every night. The site is dog and child friendly.

Everyone was quiet at night so slept very well. Beautiful walks on the beach or on the nearby cliffs. EHU and water were very close, you even get your own tap which I wasn't expecting but made filling up a doddle.

Had some lovely beach walks and even took our BBQ down there to toast marshmallows and enjoy a glass of bubbly.

Could not fault our stay there and would defiantly return if we had the chance.

Can't comment on the Barn as we didn't eat there but seemed busy every night so they must be doing something right.

10/10.

Love this site. This was recommended to us by a colleague from work and he certainly didn't let us down. Some pitches are so close to the sea you can live and breath it. The facilities are kept clean which must be a feat in itself with the size of the site. It has a restaurant and bar which is well away from the caravans so no noise. There's a small village close by, llanrhystud which has another pub and a mini market shop. A great site, well priced and once again the views are to die for....especially if you get good weather and are fortunate to witness their sunsets.

Beautiful place with very scenic beach. Lovely walks all around the place. Quick update. I stopped there today for my lunch (March 14th) and the place was better than ever. They've got a brilliant beer garden with a lovely playground for the kids. Top marks again.

Brilliant site. All the facilities are really nice and clean. It has everything you need for camping or touring. The boat ramp was very good and we enjoyed using it with ease. You can launch a small boat at high to mid tide no problem. The ramp could do with dredging out slightly as very sludgy at low tide. Didn't get chance to see the bar and restaurant but told it was good. The residents were very friendly too. Would go back again.

Fab little club house! Friendly and cosy, has food area and the food is very very good, you might have to wait a bit for your food due to it being run by a lovely small group of people but it really is worth the wait, Definately ring up and book in advance as it's very popular. It's a dog friendly place so if you want food you can take your pooch and sit in the dog friendly area at the opposite end of the restaurant and they will bring the food to you there. There is bingo 3 times a week on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and an vent room for discos, birthdays and the odd film. They have a pool table, a dart board and a little gaming room. The toilets are kept clean and fresh. Outside there's a parking area and an ample play area for the children, swings, slide and a football area. Picnic tables, a band stand and covered smoking area. Can't recommend this place enough. I've had many a good time there over the years, there is something for everyone.

Pengarreg = My happy place 🥰. Love that there is plenty of space and caravans are not sandwiched in everywhere. The toilet/shower block is the cleanest and best for drying space we have encountered. The Barn is fab, best Sunday roasts. More than anything, our kids are just so happy there. Apart from playgrounds there are no facilities for the teenagers, but this does not matter, they are out playing and making friends from the moment they wake up until dark. Skimming stones, making dams, taking a bike ride to the beach. Our children re the 3rd generation of our family to love this place 🌅🌄

We needed somewhere to stay in the Abersytwyth area as part of my ongoing walking of the superb Wales Coast Path.

Pengarreg is in a perfect position with the path actually running right through the middle of the touring field!

The main road at the entrance to the site has an excellent bus service from Aberystwyth to Milford Haven.

We had a fully serviced hardstanding pitch with water, electric hook-up and waste water drain. Apart from the waste drain being higher than the caravan outlet (water doesn't run uphill, lol. This seems to be a common theme on sites, I wonder why designers don't take it into account) it was perfect with a great view of the sea.

The only tiny negative is that the site is very open and on the very windy last night, we were buffeted around a bit in the van.

The toilet and showers are excellent with modern fittings, lashings of hot water and are meticulously cleaned very early each day.

The check-in was excellent and very friendly.

The Barn bar and restaurant at the entrance to the site was great where we had an excellent Sunday Roast and spent one evening at the bar where we were able to order a light meal. Again the staff were brilliant.

We would definitely stay here aging if we visit the area.

Fabulous space right by the sea, has two play areas, one of which is outside the clubhouse. Really great space for flying kites, playing with bubbles, football, tag, paddling, fishing and generally a beautiful place to go for walks. Always have a great time here when I come with my family. Opportunities to either camp, park a caravan or hire a static caravan. Highly recommend.
