Lovely house and beautiful gardens and walled gardens to walk around, with woods by the river near the cafe. Our dog was allowed round the huge walled gardens and everywhere, apart from the house and farmyard. Nice shop too as well as the cafe by the car park. Very enjoyable afternoon.

Stunning place. Well worth a visit. We’ve been to a fair few national trust estates but this is my favourite. Lovely woodland, and well preserved house.

Lovely day out, largest walled garden I've seen with full sized orchard trees. Walk around lake with rhododendrums in bloom today. Woodland walks around the estate. Service courtyard particularly interesting. Lovely gentleman in the kitchen showing us a range of kitchen gadgets and asking us if we could guess what they were used for. Strongly recommend you go and have a guess.

Fantastic little find with lots too do. A bohemian feel and set In mature woodland. Fantastic well kept gardens and grounds with a John Nash house to explore too.

A step back in time, wonderfully presented home. Each room has an A4 laminated sheet in both English and Welsh to explain the architecture, furnishings and use of the room.
It is an Elegant Georgian villa, designed by architect John Nash in 1790, and tells the story of the owners.
Lots to see and do. During our visit, there were things for the children to do- play on a grand piano, find the knitted mice in each room, dress up in the court yard and making a lavender bag.

You could just go for the house, or the walks itself. The landscape is amazing.

Really enjoyed our visit here and it was a nice surprise to see that the house was open. They had a one way system place which worked really well and all the staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. We met a very friendly duck on our walk round the lake and saw some chickens, pigs and cats at the farm. Got a cuppa and a couple of tasty treats from the cafe and had our picnic on the grass. All in all a lovely visit and we will certainly be back if we are in the area again. 🙂🙂

Lovely local national trust property for Lampeter. Amazing Christmas Markets with huge range of food, drink, and private stalls. Lovely garden walk but can be muddy.

Late autumn, wet and cold ; and muddy in many places outdoors. In the house it was dry, clean and a civilized temperature! The walled gardens, farm buildings snd equipment were beautiful and fascinating : we particularly enjoyed seeing all the back rooms, stores, dairy ... Memorable for the fact that this was the first visit to an NT property after 20 years of living in the Outer Hebrides, and the first of our joint life membership.
We shall be back!

A great place to visit and a really historic house architecturally. Lots to see and do here in the house, the grounds and the farm buildings. There are a number of walks in the surrounding area for the more adventurous. All of the National Trust volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe was busy and served lovely coffee with a selection of hot and cold food and snacks. We opted for one of the cakes each, which tasted as good as they looked.

Another beautiful place maintained by the National Trust! The house, grounds and gardens are a pleasure to visit. We were really impressed by the walled gardens and lake which gave the kids plenty of room and opportunity to explore and run around. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful - as always with the National Trust. If you are in the area, I couldn't recommend this place enough as there is plenty to see and do. We finished our visit off in the cafe... the cakes, scones and tea were superb - just wish this place was more local for us! Several small birds joined us in the cafe, they were clearly regulars as they knew to creep in under the glass door and to sit on the back of chairs to be rewarded with crumbs - the kids were made up. Thanks National Trust for a great day out with the family!!!

We are National Trust members so all was included. The house is lovely but the walled garden and working farm are fantastic. Lots to do and see and just a beautiful setting.

The cafe is reasonably priced with nice food and drinks.

The walks around the woods and river are also really special. Well worth a visit and a no brainier if you’re a NT member.

Access by car is down single track roads with passing places. The car park is ample although it was nearly full the day I visited. Entrance is at the end of the car park and there is a secondhand bookshop and independently run cafe next door. After booking in you cross the road along a path to the villa, gardens and pond. Despite being busy (a Wednesday morning) it felt relaxed, peaceful and engaging. The house was open thankfully and I had to queue as precautions were being taken for our safety under Covid-19 regulations. Inside the house was peaceful and I felt well spaced from others. Meet and greet staff were most friendly and delightful. There is much of interest here and I liked being in a modest house that had been in the same family until it was passed to the National Trust. Well worth visiting.

Fabulous house and lovely grounds and farm. Very knowledgeable team in the house who are happy to answer questions. I loved seeing the servants area and the courtyard where cheese and butter made on site. A lot of effort has gone into restoring this property and the NT have really brought it to life. It's well worth a visit!

Lovely place to wonder around and enjoy. Excellent for a family day out with lots of farmyard animals to look at and enjoy particularly the piglets which were very amusing. The walled gardens were well maintained and had good displays of flowers and vegetables. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The only down side was the cafe as it needs to be a bit bigger to serve the customers but we had arrived just when the Park Run had finished so a lot of runners were enjoying their well earned cake. Lovely wood walks and stone throwing in the river entertained for a long time. Well worth a visit and up to the usual NT standards.

We called in to visit during the Christmas Fair weekend so the focus of our attention was the many excellent stalls: we left with a boot-full of gifts! However, the house and gardens are also delightful and we will definitely be making a visit back.

Up to the usual standard we expect of the National Trust. Interesting John Nash House, farm facilities, garden and lake to visit and an extensive estate for walks.

Visited Llanerchaeron beginning of September '21 when a friend who enjoys walking visited. I love woodland so decided to take him here and we walked the 3 longer walks which were all roughly 1 mile. Very pretty and beautiful scenery, the dogs enjoyed it thoroughly, too.
