We booked last minute and stayed here for 2 nights. It was amazing.
The owners were so lovely and greeted us when we arrived and told us about the best places to visit.
The pod had everything that you needed, towels, bedding, cutlery, plates & kettle etc.
We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We stayed in the plucking barn. The view was spectacular. Our hosts were really friendly. The secure dog paddock was a real bonus due to having two big dogs. Good to know they were safe around farms. Everything you need for a lovely break away.

The plucking barn holiday cottage near Lampeter offers a relaxing top notch accommodation. It is only 20 minutes from a wonderful scenic coastline. Lots to see and do locally in this beautiful area of West Wales,  The barn has amazing views and is a restful place to sit and while away many hours just enjoying the peace and quiet. Thank you to Claire & Andrea for a really warm welcome.

What a wonderful place to be. Just got home from a short break here in The Plucking Barn. We were met by Claire on arrival and Claire gave us lots of info about staying there and how things worked. The accommodation was 5 star, top notch and extremely comfortable and warm as well as being fully equipped! There was a wonderful welcome pack for us and our 2 dogs, much more than we would have expected. The dog paddock was a massive bonus and help and the whole farm was kept immaculately. We met Andrea today on our departure and they are a lovely couple. We will most definately be back. Thank you so much for providing top quality accommodation and customer service. Can't wait to return :)

Had a wonderful holiday in the Barn/Lodge with our 2 dogs who were also made very welcome. A safely fenced Doggy paddock was a great asset. The people were sincere, kind, helpful and made us feel at home. Facilities and support excellent. There are also local restaurants/cafes that welcome your dogs and give them water and a plate of dog biscuits while you eat and relax. Would highly recommend. It was well worth the journey from the opposite side of Britain!!

We stayed in the barn for 3 nights in July. It was perfect! Reasonable price, nice & clean, 25 minute drive through beautiful country side to get to the beach. Most of all, very friendly and welcoming hosts with two lovely dogs! They really made our trip that little better.

This place is a small piece of heaven. The barn was immaculate throughout. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with all the things you could possibly imagine. The views were fabulous and the family were so welcoming and friendly. They looked after my dogs for the day so I could head out to sea for the day which was fabulous. They provided a huge amount of information for local days out and things to do. I cannot fault any part of my stay. Highly recommended

Stayed in the barn January 2016. What a lovely stay we had. Hosts very welcoming. We took the dog and he was very welcome too. Had a nice Chinese from nearby New Quay, which was very nice, visited Aberystwyth which was only about half and hour away. The barn was immaculate, and very warm and cosy. Highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful pod and location. We were welcomed on arriving by friendly faces. The pod was immaculate, comfy beds, spacious for the 3 of us (2 adults 1 toddler), massive green infront of the pod for playing with plenty of games in the utility House. We will be returning this summer!

A beautiful place to relax, recharge and birdwatch. The site is immaculate and very well kept and the caravan we stayed in spotless and incredibly comfortable. Lovely owners in charge of the site. Nothing too much trouble and everywhere so peaceful!

We decided to take a short glamping break on valentines last year, something cheap and in the countryside. We were absolutely taken away with the quality of the glamping pod and the absolute beauty of the views that surrounded us. The people that owned it were very kind and helpful in pointing us in the direction of anything we needed and also in supplying firewood for a twilight BBQ. Would definitely recommend and will 100% be returning! Worth the trip just for the quiet and the stars!

Quite, quaint and picturesque. Our hosts were fantastic, the accomodation (glamping pod) was spotlessly clean, functional yet cosy and incredible value for money. We couldn't have asked for more, the perfect weekend retreat!

The three of us have had a fantastic time in mid west wales this week, from dolphin spotting and crabbing in Newquay, to horse riding at Rheidol riding centre. Devil's bridge falls, and to top it off bumping into British and Irish lions captain Ken Owens, We have really packed so much in this week Winllan farms plucking barn has been the perfect base to stay. It has all the accessories you will need and more, this truly is a great base and place to stay.

Louise

Just absolutely amazing
Not sure where to start but WOW what an amazing place to stay.
The barn is just perfect and wonderful inside. Luckily for us the weather has been unbelievable and sitting on the balcony looking at the amazing views is worth the trip alone.
We booked here as soon as we read the reviews, saw the photos and more importantly found out about the enclosed dog paddock which our 3 springers love. Its probably the best, safest and biggest area we've seen for where the dogs can have a great time while on holiday.
The utility block literally has everything in it. The amount of books, dvd's, games etc as well is awesome.
Everything is clean, tidy and well looked after. The covid measures put in place are second to none. So much so there's even a box to put items like dvds and games in that will be cleaned before they are out back.

A lot of our holidays we have actually considered or gone home a day early, but that wont be happening here. We needed the rest and relaxation and we've certainly had it while staying here.

Claire and Andrea the owners made our stay even more enjoyable and it was a pleasure getting to know them. They are just absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. They said we could of stayed the rest of the weekend and we would of if it wasn't for work.

The little details like dog tags with the location and phone number, dog treats, bowls, balls and an endless supply of dog towels really did mean alot.

The 1st day we lay on our dog beds on the gravel in the sun and was soon told 'We don't expect guests to do that, make yourself at home and use any furniture you see'.

Thank you so much Vanessa, Reece, Snoop, Poppy and Lilly.
