John is a great lad. I text him (got his number from Google) explaining I needed a chain replacement as my bike had been in the shed for a couple of years and my chain had seized. I told him I’d drop the bike off but didn’t expect a same day turn around. When I dropped it off he told me to wait until he’d had a look before I left. While I waited he managed to repair my chain explaining it didn’t need replacing, also managed to tweak my brakes at no extra cost, out of the goodness of his heart. I will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks John!

I recently had the pleasure of getting my brompton bike tyres replaced with John's help, and I must say that his service was incredible. Kieran, the organiser of the critical mass in Manchester, highly recommended John to me, and I am glad that I took his advice.

Very old school bike shop, perfect for what was needed. John is clearly a busy man, can barely move for bikes, our bike needed new calipers and a clean down of the pads etc John did all this same day and charged us £40. Lovely Gent, Quick Diagnosis and gave us the options to repair. Definitely will use again!

I took my bike to have my breaks changed and after inspection, John told me they didn't need changing and instead he did a bit of tweaking and my breaks are now as good as new.

John was so helpful and professional any issues I have with my Bike going forward I will definitely be going back there!

Sent my bike into John to have new brakes fitted, he also replaced the derailleur cable too and fed them through the places they should be fed through and reset my gears properly, his service, prices and labour is 10/10 thank you so much I appreciate it all and I will always John with every single bike I have I highly recommend this fella!

Cant praise John highly enough. Turned up with my son, unannounced, asking if he could check my son's bike to see if it was safe to ride. He stopped what he was doing & checked his bike, even pumping up the tyres for added safety.

Just amazing, today i went to get my red bnx trax bike fixed and my g John fixed it in under an hour or 2 i would really recommend going to John's bikes he is really fast at fixing it and he only charged 25 pound and 5 pound for the bike lock💷🚲🤙

Sensational service from John and the chap who works for him, had some issues with my gears on my Trek Mountain bike which he fixed rather promptly and so I gave him a tip for going the extra mile. Support local!
