The Flyford

We've eaten twice at the Flyford in the last week and can't recommend it enough. The serving staff were absolutely excellent, and couldn't do enough for us. They were very friendly and polite and made us feel very welcome.

The food was excellent. Our party had the steak, the burger, fish pie, sausage and mash and the pie of the day. Everyone was happy with their meals. We particularly recommend the baked Camembert starter, which we all shared.

Although it was November, the staff were happy for us to eat outside (which is not always the case in some pubs). The outside seating area was very comfortable and had a gas heater. There's plenty of room for eating outside, with picnic tables and a marquee.

It's very easy to find the pub and it's a convenient location for those driving by on the M50 or M5.

Special shout out to Tom, the newest member of the team. It was his first full shift and he was looking after us.... did an excellent job!

The customer service we experienced today was outstanding. We really enjoyed our food, the decor is amazing and the atmosphere so welcoming. Our first time and definitely not our last! 🤩

Always have great food here. We hadn't booked but they were very accommodating to us

7 of us just had a wonderful meal and were really well looked after (fish pie was great). Lovely pub, great beer as well. Will be returning.

A gorgeous and cosy country pub with excellent food, service, and rooms. Had a lovely overnight stay on my way up to Birmingham airport and would definitely recommend a visit/ stay!

Midweek lobster 🦞 Thermidor? Why not? And I’m not talking the frozen Canadian lobster type! Super fresh, super tasty, totally luxurious and all for the same price as a fillet steak 🥩. As I said why not indeed!
Highly recommend, super service, menu that pulls you back for more, exceptionally well cooked food! Highly recommend!

Food was excellent, well cooked and presented. The smoked salmon terrine was light and refreshing. The chicken on skewers was moist and tasty. Service for us was a little slow but we were not in a hurry fortunately.

Excellent food and service - really nice surroundings - Kealey was very friendly and welcoming - menu had a terrific choice and food had a ‘wow’ factor !

This is the best gastro pub food in the area! I've been a few times recently and has been great each time. Was blown away the first visit, and the following visits have not disappointed! Amazing burger, pies, fish and chips. Make it next on your list . I think the food is better than the Ivy restaurants I've been to.

I had seen the reviews online and decided to pop in one afternoon with my wife, the staff were lovely and the atmosphere and decor were in keeping with the pub! Great selection of drinks and the lager I had was very nice! I had the fish and chips which was the best fish and chips I have had in a pub ever! The mushy peas were so tasty had an onion and garlic flavour too them which was different. Will definitely be returning and have highly recommended to family and friends!

We came here on Saturday with our family,to celebrate our sons 40th Birthday, the service was excellent from start to finish, the drinks for the little people were great with fresh apple slices they looked delicious, our drinks were equally as good. The food was amazing, tasty and delicious. Fabulous venue.the atmosphere was great too.

Absolutely fantastic stay lacking absolutely nothing.
Room was immaculate, very very clean with everything you would need, the staff were thoroughly professional and friendly, would revisit in a heartbeat, loved everything associated with our stay thank you Flyford 👍👌

Really nice gastropub, good diverse menu with nice selection of fresh seafood. Swordfish steak particularly good!!

A brilliant experience from start to finish. The food, service and surroundings are exemplary. This place seems to have it all! I'll definitely be back.

Just had a beautiful lunch, didn’t need to book and had plenty of customers which made a lovely atmosphere. Sat outside in the wooden marquee, excellent service. Ordered 1/2 lobster and crab linguine. Lovely food only negative was received crab tagliatelle not linguine but the sauce was amazing white wine with cream. Attentive staff,lovely food and lovely experience. Would recommend and visit again.

Called in on the off chance there would be availability, and were fortunate to get a table for lunch. Opted for roast beef which was superb! Service was excellent 👌
