Commandery Coffee

Lovely place to pop into for a coffee and something to eat, the cafe is right next to the canal so has a lovely view of the water and locks.The staff are friendly and helpful and the food here is really good I reccomend the toasties as they are really nicely done.

The good people who run this cafe are worth a visit on their own. I stayed overnight nearby and had my bike stolen and they could not of been more helpful or understanding - even offering a free coffee while I sorted it all out. A lovely spot by the canal.

Possibly the best cafe in Worcester! The coffee is amazing and the toasties and cakes are incredible. Definitely look out for the toasties of the week, especially the cheesy garlic bread toastie and Mac n cheese toastie, as they are incredible. The owners are really lovely and always up for a chat. All the cakes and toasties are homemade with a great selection. The outside seating by the canal is possibly one of the best locations in Worcester. We come here a lot and it's always excellent!

Lovely garden next to the canal, so you can enjoy your food inside or out. Great how they do toastie of the week and soup of the day. Tasty homemade food.

We had a lovely lunch by the canal in the sunshine ☀. Our toasties were fantastic with the cheese oozing out just as it should 🤤. My only slight disappointment was that they didn't have the Mac n cheese toastie that others have mentioned 😄

The cakes are fantastic and the views are lovely! If you fancy a visit to the Commandery too, it is very nearby, but the cafe is worth a visit in it's own right. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and if your a fan of cheese, the cheese toasties are a must!

Always love coming here whether it’s sunny or rainy, the coffee is absolutely great, the owners and their staff are absolutely amazing and so welcoming! I always like having a good chitchat with them as they’re honestly the loveliest people. I always like to be supporting independent businesses and this one makes you want to come back for more (cake) coffee…it never disappoints. The location is also great, a really good setup and plenty of seating outside.

We have been going here for years now as we live close by. Gemma and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming, they always talk too and interact with my toddler son which he loves. I love Commandery because it's so little & local business with kind staff that will chat with you and better your mood! They offer many homemade desserts that are vegan/gluten or dairy free! Coffees, hot chocs & a wide tea range are also on a menu...
Overall the café is a great place to grab snacks & drinks when you're on a walk for example, because it is right on the canals in a such a nice spot! They also offer swan food for only £2 which is a great deal & you can connect with a wildlife!💛

What a wonderful place to visit!! The person on the desk was very helpful and gave us some information about the Civil War, he was very passionate about history. Going through the different rooms, there were holograms retracing the different ways the premises were used, examples of ghostly happenings, a timeline of rulers, well explained sequence of events and so much more... My 13 and 14 years old enjoyed dressing up and made full use of the interactive activities. We learnt a lot in a fun way. Also the entrance fee is very reasonable. I will definitely come back to this great museum.

I went in with my two boys as part of our home school activities. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The cafe is also fabulous. The best place for homemade cake and good coffee. It's reasonably priced and the staff are lovely. Lots of vegan and dairy free cake options too. Dog friendly and lovely views of the canal. A perfect place to sit and watch the works go by.

Always excellent and friendly here. The coffee is good and made to your specific order if requested. The choice of homemade cakes will make the hardest decision which to choose.
