Wayland's Yard

Fantastic bistro/cafe in the heart of Worcester, right next to Forgate Street Station. Staff were excellent, and the food was even better. Faultless breakfast and homemade hash browns are worth the trip alone.

Good range of leaf teas and coffees to go with the food menu. Good value for money with regards to meal size.

Will definitely be going back, and will recommend to anyone.

The BEST in Worcester. I come here once or twice a month on my return journey through Worcester. Nicest staff ever, amazing coffee and super timely service. Never a bad experience, the white chocolate mocha is a must try. Creative menu, and plenty of gluten free, coeliac safe options along with dairy free and vegan options. Super, super helpful worker (I didn't catch a name, but no doubt they know who they are) that was extremely apologetic when she overcharged me (I didn't realise nor care, because everything is so great about this place). I will never change my monthly Wayland's Yard visit!!!!

Beautiful brunch place. Tasty food, nice vibe to the place. Would be nice to come on a warm day, the outside seating looked welcoming.

A cancelled train meant that I unexpectedly found myself in Worcester for an hour. This place is close to the station, and is an absolute delight. The coffee was excellent, and the brunch was freshly prepared with very efficient service. The hash browns were a particular delight, as well as the homemade chilli jam!

We just happened upon this lovely place that was busy and so inviting! The menu looked brilliant- suited for vegetarian and carnivore alike. 🤩 The people were welcoming and atmosphere warm and friendly. Their coffee is delicious! When our order arrived I actually had to take a picture of it- something I never bother to do, but honestly I am thrilled we found Wayland’s Yard, and will definitely be coming back!!

From the moment my dog and I walked through the door, we were greeted with big smiles and a cheery 'Hi!' There were certainly no Monday morning blues here!

The staff, all of them, were super-friendly, efficient and genuine. Drinks were served quickly yet carefully and a bowl of water for the dog placed without even asking. The menu was really interesting and mouth-watering and as such, we had to share 3 plates between 2 people as we couldn't decide!

Would definitely recommend.

Great brunch place, so many choices of hot drinks and breakfast food. The eggy crumpets were an absolute treat. Having eaten here a few times I'd absolutely recommend it, there are many options for foodies like me and more simple food available as well if you're a bit picky. Plenty of seating outside too in their lovely garden. You can order and pay on your phone at the table which is nice and easy too

We visited here with the family whilst we were staying in Worcester. We were greeted by friendly staff and were seated in the nice garden around the back. There is a good selection of food and drink on you menu with various options for vegetarians. Everything was standard prices. I thoroughly enjoyed my eggy crumpets. The chilli jam was delicious and I also loved the chorizo which I added as an extra. Everyone else enjoyed their meals with no complaints apart from two of the meals that we ordered didn’t come. We had to remind the staff and apparently there wasn’t a ticket made for that order for some reason. They rectified the situation by giving us a free drink and cake which was very nice of them. Overall, a nice place to eat which we’d recommend.

I've been meaning to try Wayland's Yard since moving to Worcester at the end of last year and finally made it yesterday afternoon. I wasn't disappointed and wish I'd been before! The scrambled eggs were the tastiest scrambled eggs I've had in years and the hash browns were delicious. Great coffee and friendly service too.

These guys know how to run a coffee bar! Always a friendly welcome and smile from the young team. Great coffee, and tasty food: I had quality scrambled egg on toast. Nice tables that don't wobble, and sockets to plug in your device. Step free access to a wide door restroom. If you're in Worcester, go here!

Gosh, the food is so good! The eggs were delicate and flavoursome. The star of the show was the hashbrowns with chilli jam. This feels like it should be shared. Never in my life had hash browns that good. The cafe itself was very cosy, and the service was great.

Came to Wayland's for some brunch on Saturday, we were kindly greeted as we entered and managed to get a table outside in the back garden (the weather was lovely).
The choice of food and drink on the menu is great, providing 'normal' options as well as Vegetarian and Vegan.
The hot chocolate was probably the best I've ever had, so would definitely recommend and the coffe (from what I'm told - sorry I don't like coffee), tasted brilliant!
We had the pancakes and full english, the presentation of everything was lovely and it didnt disappoint on the taste, it was amazing!
Staff were friendly and the sevice was good!
It's nice because it's literally outside Foregate Street Train station, so we caught the train in to Worcester and stopped here! 100% recommend going! And we will be back soon!

Another great experience at Wayland's Yard, we went for the halloumi fry up and the big stack, both were amazing. The staff were friendly and welcoming and there is a lovely atmosphere.

Brilliant place to come for breakfast or brunch. Great selection of food to suit most needs with options for vegetarians and vegans. Big garden out back with lots of seating and also dog friendly.

Food was amazing and well worth the money.

Great food - highly recommend the eggy crumpets with chilli and halloumi. Coffee was nice if a little pricey IMO but to be fair it wasn't the usual and certainly still cheaper than most mainstream coffee shops. Interior was trendy though some comfier seating would be nice as the seating is very hard a d quite narrow depending where you sit. All in all though, can't wait to go again.

This is hands down the best breakfast I’ve ever had anywhere, not just in Worcester! Staff are really friendly, food tastes amazing and arrives quickly at the table. Incredible value for money and a great atmosphere :)

Guaranteed to be the best breakfast you can have in Worcester- epic every time! Our only request is to bring back the chocolate pancakes and the one pan eggs.

If you want breakfast in Worcester go here, it's that simple. Hash browns are spectacular 👌. Plus they brought us lovely Earl Grey tea to the table when we forgot to order.
