Atherstone Pharmacy

I rang up looking for a prescription for my dad that was out of stock elsewhere. The pharmacist was really friendly and helpful and made it such an easy experience. This is definitely my preferred pharmacy in Atherstone.

As a family we left one high street pharmacy in Atherstone, due to repeat prescriptions never being ready (sometimes waiting for 5 or 7 days after taking it in), or they seemed to be always owing part of your medication. Since we changed to Atherstone Pharmacy, we have never had any of these problems. Yes sometimes on a Sunday, they haven't been open wat the time they state, but returning half an hour later they are open. All the staff are friendly and extremely helpful. 100% recommend

Long Street, Atherstone Pharmacy has been very professional and helpful this weekend in guiding me to call 111 to deal with my having run out of certain prescription for my heart.
Being totally at a loss with feeling poorly and unsure due to the wrong diet I was eating. The 'wrong diet' was realised when I asked the resident pharmacist for guidance about pinky/red blotches, (from childhood memory traces ) I mentioned my fish diet and he recognised at once my wrong diet with the information of my prescription list of late.

Always had problems at my local pharmacy tried these on the off chance today, service was amazing I was delt with and on my way within minutes, something that would take days at my local pharmacy, great place!

Medication always complete .. lovely staff ..

Really excellent, helpful service. Nothing is too much trouble and repeat prescriptions accurately made up are delivered rapidly. Advice is given if needed. Can't fault it.

This pharmacy was great when it first opened. Now I am blatantly being lied to.running around chasing my prescription up , as they tell me its not come back from the drs yet. To then be told by drs it was sent over 3 weeks ago to pharmacy. Not the 1st time I've been lied to by them either!!!!
So I spoke to a different pharmacist who explained the situation to me and also listened to what I had to say. It was nice that he took the time to explain and that the surgery or the pharmacy could of told me sooner. So he apologised. Restored my faith in humanity. So thank you.
So spoke to my gp and repeat prescription and found I was still being lied. Absolutely unprofessional. Instead of just telling the truth as apparently they were protecting their staff!!!!

Tired of saying are all my meds their asking for each item only to find things missing. Pharmacist Asian Gentleman, was unpleasant about my service dog being in the shop. Then rude on the phone because he didn't know the system ... to find a script that was their 3 days ago. Not happy.

Lovely customer service by the lady who collected my prescription, however I was left disappointed by the Pharmacist today.

I had been prescribed some medication from the GP, and I have never took the ones given. I then asked the lady at the counter to ask the Pharmacist if he could come over to give me some information on the Medication. He took one look over at me, then shouted over to his colleague "It's for a Water Infection". She tried to give me the information in the kindest way, but found the Pharmacist really unhelpful and will be asking my GP to transfer me over to the other Pharmacy.

I'm left wondering whether would this had happened to someone who appeared more vulnerable than myself? Perhaps and elder? Or was it pure prejudicism? I would hope patience and kindness is offered to all.

I'm always in full support of local services, but not afraid to call those who are in a position to do better! It is part of your role to provide IAG to customers in relation to the medication you provide.

I hope this is a one off and no one else will have to leave feeling as let down as I did.

In addition to the worn out leather chairs they have for Customers to sit on.

Although the pharmacy advertises that the Sunday opening hours are from 7 am until 5 pm this doesn’t seem to be the case. I walked down at 07.20am this morning and the shop was closed. If you’re advertising the suggested times and not following them then I would suggest you change your website to correct any future wasted visits.
