We booked a tour to Skomer Island from here and it went great! The boat trip was comfortable and the guide was funny, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. To top it off, we saw hundreds of puffins!

Plenty of parking especially this time of year. Parking fee was normal for national trust £6 cars and £8 campervan. Paths were a little muddy but nothing bad.

It was marvelous!!! We loved the trip to skomer, the trip in the boat was excellent, the team was really dedicated and professional, they love the fauna and Harry the seagull is just incredible.

We will be back next year to see more puffins :)

Skomer Island Puffins. Lovely boat ride we took from Lockley to Jack Sound to disembark at Skomer. We had booked tickets online and the check in is at Lockley Lodge. You can buy tickets there too. In April we took the boat to Skomer island to see the puffins. They were very helpful with sorting out the boat trip and shared lots of information with us.

Lovely big car park. Stopped here to take the boat ride to see the Puffins. If in this area would 100% recommend taking the trip. Jim the Guide was very knowledgeable. Told us everything about the Islands and its many species of Birds. Yes we see Puffins!. We even see a cheeky seal have a sunbathe on a dingy!. Thank you for the great experience.

My husband and I went here to go see the puffins at Skomer Island, and we were not disappointed. The boat trip was well managed. It took only about 15 mins or so, and we were given plenty of time to go explore the island.

One thing to note: bring enough food and water as there are none on the island. They sell water, but only in one specific spot, so it may not be very convenient to go back and forth there.

Don’t forget to bring home all your trashes too to protect the wildlife in the island.

Great place to walk the dogs around the coast line, and you may get the odd glimps of a few seals in between the rocks if you look hard enough

Lovely little place with friendly staff. Visited here to get Skomer Island tickets.

Loads of puffin related things to buy in the shop for a reasonable price.

Lovely little visitor centre for skoma island, the main point of this building is to get check in your online tickets or buy a ticket if there is availability which there usually isn't so best to pre book. It also has tea and coffee and an fridge with ice-cream pots you can buy and lots of gifts and puffin based merchandise.

The photo of the Swallow was taken inside the Gents Toilet just down from the Visitor Centre. The Centre was closed during my visit, but was excellent last time I was there.

Parked at Marloes and walked the 7mi round the stunning headland. Great little visitors centre half way round offered refreshments (drinks, choc, icecream) and public toilets and free water down the hill.

Great little shop selling memorabilia for skomer island and the national park. Also sells tea, coffee and ice cream for travellers in need of some refreshments.

National trust property with the expected service and support. No cell signal here so do be prepared. All good otherwise, especially if you are headed out to see the puffins

Wonderful experience with nesting puffins by the path and fields of misty, lavender blue, sweetly scented bluebells
Bring food as there are no shops on the way from Broadhaven and the food available is not nutritious

Helpful and friendly staff with a real love for and knowledge of the local wildlife. The binoculars they sell are excellent and great value, a huge improvement on my old ones. Good selection of souvenirs for all ages, postcards and ice cream. Best of all, its the gateway to Skomer Island.

Had a wonderful day here, got to the lodge for about 9:15 and managed to get tickets for the last boat out to skomer Island. There isn't much shade or shelter on the island itself so take appropriate clothing and suncream! The lodge is a gift shop and has small selection of snacks and hot drinks and does accept card, this is where you need to buy your landing passes. You will need cash for the boat itself with is about £11 for an adult. All in all a great day out and saw lots of wildlife and even if we did get a bit sunburnt.
