Absolutely perfect little retreat. Exactly what we were looking for. The flat is spotless and very comfortable. It is fully equipped but you need to make sure you have your preferences. There was coffee sachets and Yorkshire tea bags. Loved the fact it had en suite and separate bathroom. It's close to Dale with lots off shoots off onto the Pembs coastal path. Dale has two lovely restaurants and a stunning bay. If we stay in the area again we would not hesitate to return here. The weather was glorious and hot enough to enjoy the sun beds perched out facing south. 5 stars. The owners who live on the grounds are very accommodating and very nice.

Recently camped at Slate Mill Lodge and had a wonderful time. Unlike other places which usually just have a field for campers, Slate Mill Lodge has marked out camping pitches. The camping area has a brook running through it, allows fires and BBQ's if you are in the area away from the house, has a campsite fridge and charging point and allows for use of washing machines and dryers for a fee. Shower and toilet blocks are well situated and are cleaned regularly.

I can’t speak highly enough of this place and the kindness of the family who run it. My wife and I were driving to Pembrokshire to see the puffins on Skomer Island, when we popped a tire on our rental car. Lucky for us we were not far from Slate Mill Lodge, and let me just say WOW! The husband and wife who run the lodge came straight to our rescue. They drove us to the dock so we wouldn’t miss our boat, unfortunately rough seas cancelled the tour. But they took us back to the lodge and helped us with the tire repair and got us back on the road in practically no time, all out of the goodness of their hearts. Good Samaritans are still among us, and these wonderful people are living proof!

A real gem! Unique setup with every pitch separated, little stream running through the site, bbq area, little bridge and lights - I dare to say it's romantic! Very nice people run the place - part of their house is designated a s a bar and restaurant, excellent place. Even when it's fully booked it just doesn't get crowded. And it is open all year round!

Best place to sleep in the middle of nowhere. Very tranquil and quiet. Lady who owns it is very nice and friendly. Very clean, all the needed appliances are in place, so all you need is to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery outside the window!

Clean and uncluttered though functional
A rather unflattering large mirror in the Bathroom 😆 but nice setting and very handy for our trip to Skomer.

Comfortable, quiet and well appointed accommodation. Friendly hosts. The only downside is being at least a 5 mile drive from anything.
