Great park for the older kids, you've really got to be 1.4m to get your money's worth. We went on Fright Night and my only negative would be that there weren't enough "characters" walking around the park, only kept to their set areas which meant you had to go out of your way to see them. Otherwise, an amazing day

Staff are always so lovely and chatty. Always enjoy the shows throughout the year. Attended fright night with 4 year old and actors were absolutely brilliant with her . Good variety of Rides and food venues. Visited with children aged 4,7,11 and they all had an awesome time.

Epic Fright Night, Scare Maze's were 10/10, best I've done. Very busy weekend, Shark cabin accommodation made it less hassle on the 2nd day to get in front of the queues.

Multiple rides on all our favourite coasters !

Great weekend 😃

Went to Thorpe Park for fright nights, I have autism and ADHD, upon entry the lady at the desk was so kind and helpful as she could see I was nervous, the park staff were fabulous, the fright nights mazes were brilliant, the shows were wonderful! Really great experience, on the first night we had a couple of drinks at one of the little bars being served by Josh and Ed who deserve a special mention as they were so friendly and helped answer questions about things going on at the park, so much so that I booked to come again the next day! Well done everyone and thanks for having us ❤

It’s a really great place, we had a good time, most of the rides are more suitable for older kids, the queues were like so long, spent 50 to 60 minutes to get on some rides, enjoyed the shows especially the magic act and the sword swallowing guy. In order to go on all the attractions, you may need to book a room in the cabins to achieve this. Lots of options for food and free water refills everywhere

I'm 53 years old and I remember (in my much younger years) enjoying rides like Nemesis and Oblivion at Alton Towers but Ummm... Wow! Stealth? Swarm? Oh my goodness, what a great day that was. I nearly chickened out on the best rides but I'm glad I didn't bottle it. Best adrenalin rush day out in a long time.

Fab day out for fright night! We arrived at 10 am & didn't leave until 20:30! We were so surprised how quiet it was all day, and the longest we queued was 20 minutes, with the exception of the Ghost train as that was around 45/50 mins. It was so worth it, though! By afternoon, the queues were non-existent, and we re rode the swarm 4 times & stealth 7 times. We went on every rollercoaster a minimum of 3 times. We managed around 25 rides in all. We walked through the free scare mazes & the actors were good! The good thing about Thorpe Park is how close everything is. It's easy to get from one side to another without the queue time changing dramatically, unlike Alton Towers. I would recommend downloading the app as it has all the rides waiting time plus shows, etc, going on that day. You can also use it as a navigation from one ride to another. There was plenty of choice for food but it was quite expensive but definitely something for everyone.
Can not WAIT to come back next year & ride hyperia!!!!

As a Merlin Pass holder, I've seen Thorpe Park on days when the heat posed challenges for their rides. However, during my recent visit, it was evident that they've made significant improvements to ensure everything operates smoothly even in scorching weather. The rides worked flawlessly, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The friendly staff and the easy availability of water throughout the park were notable highlights. Thorpe Park has clearly taken steps to make sure visitors have a fantastic time, even on the hottest days. I look forward to more enjoyable visits as a pass holder.

Thorpe Park was absolutely amazing! We had a fun time and we wanted to go back again!

September was great time to go. Not too much people, the weather was great too. We went to almost all roller coasters in one day (missed 2 😢).
We enjoyed the October fest vibe, enjoyed a couple of pints and watched the ore-lery show! The performers were incredible. I wish I had their names to mentioned it!

The queues we’re too long either. (A part from the ghost train- DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME going to this attraction!)
The actress was Great! Very talented, but the attraction is a total waste of time. Thats why we didn’t finish our rollercoasters 🎢 .

You can bring your own drinks and sandwiches, but they have a vast variety over there too.

Definitely Recommend it! 🤩

A massive place!
* Had a bit of an issue arriving by public transport (from London Bridge area) - had to take a tube, train and two buses but was worth it :)
* We ended up arriving about half an hour after the park had opened and there was already a pretty long queue.
*Mind you that the queues for attractions usually take between 40-60 minutes so you might no be able to ride all the attraction in one day. We arrived at 10:30 and left at 16:00 and managed to do only 4 attractions.
*The park has a really informative app with the option to see live queue times for each attraction and an interactive map of the park.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
*The Walking Dead ride is actually an Indoor roller coaster!
* DO NOT skip the Ghost Ride! the queue is really long but it is absolutely worth it!!

We got here at 10am when it opened and pretty much went on all of the rides with the kids. Such fantastic day and the weather was pretty good, well it didnt rain and thats a blessing. Staff were on the ball and very professional. There is something for everyone. The facilities and amenities are top notch. 10/10

Thorpe Park delivers exhilarating rides, fantastic theming, and family-friendly attractions. While queues can be long, it's a thrilling, fun-filled day out that's worth the visit for any amusement park enthusiast.

Awesome day out with the family... We've been to Alton Towers 3 times in the past 18 months & Thorpe Park was on par - big thrill rides... I'd say aimed at 10 years old & above, so not really for little ones, but we weren't looking for those types of rides.

We went on a Sunday just before kids went back to school & we queued for no longer than 25 minutes... most rides were around 15 min wait.

We'll definitely be back in 2024 for the new ride that's being built

We had such an amazing time at this place on Saturday! We booked online a few weeks in advance and when the day came there was a full-on storm that day. When we arrived, there were no queues! The most we waited was 25 minutes. We had to wait for lightning and thunder to pass at one point, about 45 minutes, then it was back on. The most thrilling ride for me was definitely Stealth. It's so fast, I lost my breath for a sec. Many food places to choose from. The props for the rides are well done, and create great ambience. One of the kids didn't bring a raincoat so we ended up buying a poncho for £10... So if there's rain on the horizon come prepared.

We had such a fantastic day out. Would highly recommend for all thrill seekers. Such a variety of things to do, catered to the whole family. The staff were all so helpful and friendly. Special thanks to Ben on the Slushy stand. His understanding, positivity and vibes made our day perfect. Tidal wave at the end as you'll be drenched and wear your crocs, thank me later.

Say it with me: W.O.W! Thorpe Park is the name but certainly FUN is the main aim!!

Went this week Tuesday and haven’t been to the resort since year 9 for a school trip (where we very had little time to explore due to having to stay in groups and was very busy- July). But enough of this….

The fury of Nemesis Inferno, the speed of Stealth, the anticipation of SAW, the darkness of the Walking Dead (literally 😂), the twisted rush of Colossus and the avant garde of Swarm, the thrill of Rush, the fun (and wetness) of Tidal Wave amongst other rides I went on are why I personally have concluded (and always did) that Thrope Park is the best amusement park the UK has to offer.

Rides I went on: Nemesis Inferno (twice) Stealth, Detonator, Swarm (twice), Colossus, SAW, Samurai, Walking Dead: the ride (twice), Tidal Wave, Rush and Vortex

If I spoke about these rides individually we would be here all day but honestly some special mentions:

1. Nemesis Inferno. It’s in the name as to just how fast and furious this ride is. Ran to this ride when the park first opened as I got there for 10 am. Sat at the front for the first ride and near the middle for the second and honestly both times were super fun but when I sat in the middle it seemed to be even more furious than when I was at the front!

The G-force on your neck and that adrenaline rush is a must to experience this ride- beginners and thrill seekers alike!

2. SAW. I mean it literally came, “saw” and conquered. One of the more darker themed rides based on the hit film series “Saw”, it was absolutely brilliant! For those wanting to ride this one all I will say is that at the beginning there’s a completely unexpected surprise at gets your heart pumping in true ‘Saw’ fashion and my gosh that death drop when you get to the top of the ride and all the spins and turns- MAGNIFICENT! Just an absolute ride. Will say it is a bit more bumpy on the neck due to its speed so definitely wouldn’t recommend for younger children or those who are getting into amusement rides. But if you’re visiting Thorpe park be sure to literally RUN to ride this one!!

3. The Walking Dead: the Ride. Not as dramatic as some of the other rides in the park in terms of death drops or the speed however this ride is indoor, in the dark with a few spooks along the way. Before entering there’s a video played about the walkers at Thrope Park, then a very long dark!! tunnel which leads the ride- so not recommended for young children/those who are scared easily. Also didn’t have live actors which I personally think is better because it’s scary enough as is! The ride itself is still whippy and fast and well thought out. Love the storytelling of the ride, executes the theme pretty well! If you’re going on this ride be sure to bring a friend because it really dark in the walk to and from the ride!

Tips:
1. Coming to thrope park alone or in a smaller group has its perks. Came alone to thrope park and was able to get on rides faster due to ‘Single Rider’ queues which is another queue next to the main where those riding alone or in a smaller group line. For example: SAW has a wait time of 65 mins however due to me being alone I was able to ride within a matter of 30 mins. To be honest, the queues weren’t as timely as it can get so the whole day moved really quickly

2. Get to the park early, before 10, to enjoy rides and have more time to go on the bigger rides. Got to the park before 10 and was in within a matter of 10 mins where the first ride I went on was Nemesis Inferno. Best choice as I was one of the first on the ride early in the morning before the queues got to the expected 1hr+ mark for the bigger rides.

3. Hotter days, drink lots of water! Tuesday was particularly hot however there are lots of water refill stations around some of the bigger rides which was helpful and great for accessibility for everyone

4. DOWNLOAD THE APP!!!! ITS EXTREMELY HELFUL!!!!

Don’t walk but RUN to Thrope Park and soon a new additional- Project Exodus will take centre stage!

I came to Thorpe Park for an overnight stay in the Shark Cabins and 2 days of park admission. The package overall is really good value for money.
The rides were good; the only issue was the queues, and more importantly, the queue jumpers. The number of people who think it's ok to so openly jump the queue is beyond me. Shout out to a staff member called Summer at Storm Surge for kicking the queue jumpers out yesterday. If I could, I would give her more than 5 stars for making our day today! We saw her on different rides today (Colossus and Nemesis). She was very polite and smiley, and we had a good chat with her while waiting in the queue for Colossus. Thorpe Park staff members are great and helpful, which is what we love to see!
I would recommend visiting Thorpe Park.

One of the best parks in England. Aimed more for thrill seekers then smaller kids.Coasters are great queues we're busy in the morning but in the after noon died down. Very well laid out for parking and exiting the park afterwards. Fair play to all involved in keeping it running like that. Will definitely be back in the future.

So many great roller coasters and attractions! Fright nights are fabulous especially the cocktails being served from a hearse!
We'll definitely be back next year!
