A delightful tea room with lots of character. The staff were amazing. Despite being very busy (a Saturday lunchtime) all the staff had lovely smiles, were friendly and relaxed all the time. The service was prompt and the food excellent. There were 3 of us and we had soup, toasted cheese panini and steak pie, mash and veg. Would highly recommend this tearoom.

We went to this lovely cafe last Friday. We will definitely go again, super clean and covid safe. The food was delish and the staff were lovely. They even helped an elderly lady out so she didn't trip. Great customer service. Really looking forward to another visit soon

Called in for a first time and was warmly welcomed. Sat outside and had ham and cheese panini with a lemon and ginger tea. Very enjoyable. Unfortunately the weather forecast was spot on and our lunch was almost a wash out, luckily we'd almost finished. 😋😋

We just brunch here and it was delightful! Both the food and service were excellent!
We were visiting from London and this made our trip worthwhile 😀
We enjoyed a full English breakfast, sandwiches, quiche and cake! Everything was delicious! We’d definitely stop by again if in the area!
Dog friendly too! 😊

I don’t always post reviews, but after my experience this morning (29th April 2022) I felt compelled to place one. The full English breakfast my wife and I had whilst visiting the town ,was undoubtedly the best I’d had in my life - straight up, I was totally blown away with the food, the service and the setting.
My advice to those reading this is :- stop reading and go have “ The best breakfast “ you’re ever likely to have, it really is that good!

Popular spot but the plentiful and helpful staff look after you well. There are quite a few tables in a yard at the back some of which are covered. Dog friendly.

Our lunches were good too. We'd definitely go back.

It was really busy today but we managed to find a table. After ordering our drinks and food our drinks arrived promptly followed by our food which was excellent. The staff were amazing and the building is steeped in history. We will definitely be returning and would recommend a visit. We have previously visited Biddys tea room and we felt that the staff were more friendly here. As we left, tables were being laid up for an afternoon tea booking and it looked stunning with the China and lights. A huge thank you

Quaint little place with a pretty courtyard through the back which has several tables. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. We were so grateful to them for making us sandwiches even though we arrived much later than the cut off time of 3pm for food other than cakes. Thank you!

My husband had a bowl of chilli topped with cheese and a baguette. I had pasta with basil and tomato. We both had almond slice and custard for afters. Everything was delicious but the custard was particularly amazing. Friendly staff and covid safe.

We had the chilli which was great. Chocolate brownie (and it was actually a brownie and not a sponge!!!) And coffee and walnut cake which were both very nice and not mass produced. They even bought out some dog treats our puppy too
