Excellent service received again today by Barrow Health Surgery and Dr Duffy, phone appointment received within an hour of initial call and a further follow up call.
Considering the challenging times the surgery and staff have adapted very professionally and I have nothing but praise for their efforts

I've just been for my first covid-19 jab at the surgery this a.m. Superb organisation, swift, efficient and very pleasant service from all concerned.
Infinitely better than travelling 19 miles to Derby. Fortunately, the surgery got in touch and I was able to alter the appointment.
Very impressed with the staff, and also fellow patients who queued responsibly.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you, for your quick responses to my enquiry through the website re my prescription, efficient communication re the form I needed to complete and then for the call from your friendly practitioner who sorted my prescription so quickly.

A few years ago the service you received here was somewhat indifferent to say the least but over the last year or two I have had reason to use the health centre on a number of occasions and have to say what a great experience. They are obviously under a great deal of pressure especially with all the additional houses built in the village but have to commend all the staff I have had contact with.

Lovely young receptionist. Always makes me feel like I can speak about my problems openly. Went above and beyond to make sure I had the answers for my appointments.

I couldn’t be more grateful to a receptionist called Laura who went above & beyond to help with an issue we had, she called back several times until the issue was resolved. Laura was friendly, professional & nothing was too much trouble.

Can not go in unless Dr allows you depending on what's wrong with you, however, I have always had a call from them to discuss health issues. And not needed to go in.
I now find I would like to have face to face consultation to discuss and show them better view of my disability, but!!!!!!! How does that work when They choose what you do???.

This is generally a very good surgery. Dr Vrajesh Patel is exceptionally helpful and an asset to the team. Nurse Naylor is very good too.

Absolutely brilliant surgery with very hard working doctors and nurses. Just a shame it's so busy as getting an appointment can be very difficult.

Expect to be on the phone for up to 15 minutes in the morning if you want an appointment that day!

Atrocious service constantly. 'Call us at 8AM' and their phone never works. Can't help with any mental illness as Dr Simpson seems to think schizophrenia is the only one and argumentative receptionists trying to be doctors. Shame there's no other choice in the area.

What happened to the book in online system ? It worked perfectly, especially if,( like me) poor hearing makes telephone contact difficult.
