Truely one of the best most beautiful campsites I've ever been to and I've been to a few. Quite small but kept semi wild (not all the facilities but closer to wild camping) with a beautiful clean n clear river flowing through the centre, ideal for kids to play. The proprietor Sue is lovely, very welcoming preparing breakfasts and afternoon Tea, all at as equally idilic prices. Stunning, need to book early as those in the know book this place early, often for weeks at a time

Stayed whilst walking the Beacons Way from Abergavenny to Crickhowell. What a lovely place. The breakfast was superb and set me up for day 2. The room was clean, warm and comfortable and everything I needed for a stopover. Couldn’t have wished for more. Thanks.

On the one hand I'm almost wary of reviewing Treats as I'd hate to turn up one day and find the whole world has gone there too. But on the other it's so lovely it's hard not to. Treats is situated in an exquisitely beautiful landscape and is a lovely place well run by Sue with help from the indomitable Grace. It's a lovely old fashioned campsite - minimalist but with lots of room, beautiful views and great hospitality and catering. The bunkhouse accommodation is basic but clean and the breakfasts are fantastic value. Camping is in small pitches around the site so you're not crammed in amongst loads of other people. Showers are for bunkhouse residents only so you need to be hardy and have a bar of eco-soap to wash in the stream. The surrounding countryside is some of the most beautiful in Wales and i can see myself coming here at least yearly. It's lovely to be allowed camp fires, and there are no caravan hook-ups (which is a really good thing - different type of clientele). There are many lovely walks to be explored, and Llanthony Priory (with pub) is just over the road. I love this place and look forward to our annual lads' weekend here every year. This is a place people come for peace and quiet, so respect that and don't bring loud stereos etc, though an acoustic guitar suits the place pretty well. They will also make you a packed lunch for walks in the hills, which is a great (and great value) service. Hats off to Sue for running such a lovely place, and such great value too.

I would recommend this campsite and B & B to anyone. The owners are very friendly and helpful and lots of knowledge about the history of the area. The camping is brilliant but be warned there is only a toilet with a sink and two out side taps. If you want to have a proper wash then you have to use the river but to me that doesn't make a difference as it brings back the tradition to old style camping. As for the B & B the food is fantastic and the homemade cakes are to die for! They also offer to make a pack lunch to the guest (at a cost of course) so they can have a suitable lunch whilst they are hiking. The shower blocks are very clean with a power shower which is very nice when you have been on a long hike ! I have stayed on the campsite and in the B & B and looking forward to going again as have been 3 years in a row now!

Lovely friendly owners. Very welcoming. Beautiful location nestled between the Black Mountains and Bal Bach. The campsite is near a lovely river with chickens and other wildlife surrounding us. Would definitely visit again. They have a tap for water and toilet. The basics that you need 😊

It a beautiful campsite surrounded my mountains and and through the campsite there is a river running down. I have visited the place twice and i would highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly, and they have a bar nearby and cafe which served great food. Also its a great location for hiking surround with great views and paths. Also not difficult and great experience for a beginners or even an experienced hiker.

Fantastic place set in seriously beautiful scenery. Sue (and Grace) does a great job of making you feel very welcome, the accomodation is everything we needed (we stayed in the converted barn) and the breakfast is brilliant! I will definitely recommend Treats.

Treats is a quiet and lovely little campsite in the beautiful village of Llanthony opposite the priory. A warm welcome awaits all visitors from Sue, the owner, who will also cook you a really filling breakfast should you want one. The prices are very cheap and if you book in advance you get an area to yourself. I highly recommend a stay here, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent place, very reasonably priced with a good breakfast. Nice clean showers and toilets. Good spot to stay with access to a lot of great walks. One thing to note, you will not get mobile phone signal in the valley but there is a phone box next to the site.

Great place to camp or cabin, as we did. Sue is a lovely owner, head chef, host and it's all set in a pretty dell close by the ruined priory. Certainly look to go again

Delightful small camping site adjacent to a river. Friendly hosts. Chickens, cats, and a few other animals wandering around. Toilet but no showers. Be sure to see the nearby priory.
