Love fresh cakes and sandwiches for an early mothers day afternoon tea. Would recommend anytime 😊

Had a wonderful Aternoon Tea today. The service was spot on and the food was delicious. The savoury selection was pleasantly different and tasty. Mini quiches where the pastry melted in your mouth, whilst having that nice cheesy tang about them. The cheese scones were gorgeous!
The sweet selection was equally as good. Very tasty and moist mini carrot cakes. Macaroons that whilst were very sweet had flavours that their colour represented (Yellow = Lemon)
Fruit and plain scones were so good! Asked for extra cream and that was no problem
Drinks were plentiful and of good quality
Tapps must be your 'go to' place for Afternoon Tea

Visited for the first time today with a friend. The staff were lovely and the food was great, particularly the ginger scone :). Will defininately be back for more.

Pleasant place for a cup of tea and a cake. The cakes are really delicious.

Dogs are no longer allowed into the tea room. Dog friendly tearoom. Lovely homemade cakes, can highly recommend the caramel cake and parmesan and walnut scones. Coffee nice and hot. Great to look around the garden centre afterwards.

Suddenly occurred to me that after being a regular visitor for so long I really ought to leave you a review! Fantastic choice of gluten free savoury and sweet things. Food is always great and such a lovely friendly atmosphere. My first choice for a lunchtime outing and I recommend the place to everyone.

Excellent tea room with really good quality coffee & a fabulous array of cakes (all homemade). I love the atmosphere of this bright big space and the friendly dogs belonging to the owners.

Delicious food, plenty of choice and lovely atmosphere! Their dog was so cute and curious and the view outside during spring was beautiful.

Lovely afternoon tea, all homemade. Perfect for an 80th birthday celebration., better than the Ritz.

Probably my favourite place to go for a cream scone and a cup of fruit tea in and around Baldock.

Great cakes and the best tea for miles around.
