A lovely pub to visit..
Very welcoming and cosy.
Joules brewery . So nice choice of ales 🍺
Warm log fires
The Halloween decorations were amazing, A big effort has gone into it. Sad I won't get to see the Christmas ones.
We would like to visit again.

Great pub, great beer, esp the Green Monkey.
Manage by a friendly young couple.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
There is an open coal and wood fire in the winter.

Great little pub. Has a really nice atmosphere and interesting decor. Live music inside with a beer garden to the rear. Staff are all lovely and they're also dog friendly (have an endless supply of dog treats for them!)

Stumbled in here by chance and was pleasantly surprised. Nice selection of ales in a traditional pub setting. There just happened to be a few people jamming with accordions and other unusual instruments in one corner which gave the evening a great friendly feel. Marvellous atmosphere.

Joules are doing a fab job of making nice venues into lovely pubs. This must be a flagship and has attracted the right staff too. Lovely drinks, film cast customers and an ambiance you couldn't pay for. I could wax lyrical for pages. Just go there and you won't be disappointed.

Totally great old style pub. Has really good beers and lagers from the well reputed Joules Brewery. Very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Big log fire when it's cold.
A good range of pub grub too. Nice outdoor area, some of it covered for the smokers / outdoor types. It also has a loo that is a listed building dating back to 1830!!
If you have trouble finding it, just ask anyone in High Street, they will know!!

We were truly delighted to find this Joules pub on our canal boat holiday. It had an excellent selection of real ale and a big beautiful open fire that we were lucky enough to sit next to. A great place to sip a pint in esp fans of real ale.

Lovely pub in the centre of Whitchurch selling a decent pint and good local vibe. Live music when I visited on a Saturday night as well.
