Sue and Dave have created a wonderful holiday apartment which is utterly five star luxury!
Sue was the perfect host and a really lovely person, she was so very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for her!
Woodnook is a self contained apartment with your own front door and offers total independence and the freedom to come and go as you please. The whole apartment is truly amazing, from the fully equipped downstairs kitchenette, to the luxurious bedroom and lounge area on the upper floor, with the fabulous views of the garden and beyond! Not forgetting the en-suite wet room with all toiletries provided!
Woodnook is situated just a few minutes walk away from the beautiful village of Longton, which provides wonderful shops, pubs, bars and cafes, indeed everything you could possibly need for a special vacation! The area is surrounded by beautiful countryside and offers some beautiful walks and interesting historical knowledge.

Exceeded all expectations. Beautiful place, with every detail thought of. Incredibly clean and Sue was the most gracious host. My husband and I travel a lot and this was truly one of the best locations we have ever stayed at.

I have high standards but without unreasonable expectations. However, this place surpassed them all. It is immaculately clean; great location close to amenities; large garden to enjoy; a huge balcony to sit outside and admire the view/stars; privacy as it is self-contained and also very spacious and comfortable. Sue manages to find the almost impossible balance between top hospitality whilst also giving space. The luxurious bathroom products smell amazing and they are also vegan friendly. Last but not least the breakfast was outstanding. Cooked to perfection (and to order) with delicious local ingredients and a hot coffee (as well as a selection of fresh fruits; cereals and yoghurts). 5 stars all round!

From start to finish it was a delight to stay once again at Woodnook. Sue is the perfect host, the accommodation is exquisite and full of the little touches that make it feel the 5 stars that it deserves. Well located in beautiful countryside with quick, easy access to surrounding areas including central Preston. We will return again.

Another wonderful stay- it's just the loveliest place. So many thoughtful touches from owner Sue- homemade cake, fresh flowers, toiletries. Wonderful location, yummy breakfast, such a warm welcome and just the most beautiful place to stay. Pure luxury and we hope to be back again soon.

Spent an amazing weekend at Woodnook B&B. Immaculate and spotless self contained annexe which had everything we needed. Sue & Dave were fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Peaceful surroundings , just a perfect getaway. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful facilities of the highest quality. The owners could not do enough to make our stay more perfect. We were there for 5 nights and everything was faultless. Lovely garden and surroundings. Very comfortable bed and exceptionally clean. Highly recommended.

Absolute hidden gem in Longton, perfect split level standalone accommodation with your own kitchenette, living room area and lovely bathroom. Well decorated and comes with lovely little touches (tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk, complimentary cake, free wifi). Far above and beyond the normal B&B. Excellent breakfast and lovely host as well. We will most certainly be back!

Calling this place a bed and breakfast doesn't do it justice, stunning roomy accommodation with beautiful views from the balcony. Great breakfast from the owners, who were friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble.We'll definatly stay here again.

Stayed here in July 2021. Sue & Dave lovely hosts. Self contained accommodation was modern and spotless, can't fault it. Will stay again.

Made very welcome on arrival accommodation and decor first class. It was lovely sitting on balcony in the evening over looking the gardens.
