Really welcoming village pub. Arrived in the middle of the England/Wales 6 nations match but staff still managed to be attentive and nothing was too much trouble. While the bar was buzzing, there was plenty of space in the restaurant. Beer superbly kept, food great (best sticky toffee pud I've ever had) and room comfy. As advised on their website, some noise does travel through from the bar and outside, but quickly quietened down later on. Hopefully will be back!

Stayed at the Temple Bar for two nights. Amazing facilities in the room, modern ensuite bathroom, and really comfortable double bed. The breakfast was amazing, fresh coffee and orange juice. Breakfast was fresh local products and tasted amazing. The owner spent time talking about local activities and the history of the area which is really helpful. As a sole traveler,I thought this was one of them most welcoming places I’ve stayed in a long time. I will definitely be coming back

Friendly village pub with a superb restaurant. Booked Sunday lunch for the family. There was a warm and welcoming atmosphere and a pleasant busy buzz about the place.
Lunch was a most generous meal with a wonderful range of vegetables as well as the beautifully cooked pork and beef. We managed to clear our plates, but only just!
In my opinion the red cabbage and 'Nonnas' peas were the stars of the veg show. All served with courtesy and and attention to detail. Highly recommend a visit!

Family Sunday lunch. Lovely food, good service, nice staff. The crumble was a bit sour and was too big. A smaller portion would've been better, especially after a big main. I can't believe I'm complaining about the size of the pudding, as I love desserts, lol!

Visited The Temple Bar on Friday 24/11/23 to meet old friends for a meal. We were warmly welcomed by the staff in the bar where there was a lovely atmosphere and a log fire. We ate in the restaurant from the a la carte menu. Choice was very good and well priced. The food was excellent as was the service from the staff who looked after us all evening. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and I would highly recommend. Keep up the good work.

Our second stay this year which should show how much we enjoy staying here. The room is very clean and comfortable. Gino is a great host and the staff make us feel very welcome. Dinner and breakfasts are very good.

Really nice pub food and atmosphere. They even picked us up and took us home free of charge! Couldn’t ask for anything more. Would 100% recommend.

Lovely atmosphere in the bar and staff very friendly and welcoming. Room very clean and had everything needed (including a fan, which was definitely a bonus). Breakfast was very good, which even prompted a visit to local butchers for the sausages that were served.

We enjoyed our stay at the Temple Bar Inn. Very helpful staff. Great breakfast and bar snacks. Hay Pale Ale served perfectly on tap.
The pub has a great atmosphere and is very lively and friendly.
Our room was spotlessly clean with all amenities needed and a decent hot shower.
Good value for money. We would definitely stay there again.
Thank you.

A wonderful spot for food and drinks any day of the week - but particularly on a Sunday! We were spoilt for choice by their menu which accommodated all of our guests; all three courses were utterly delicious. A huge thank you to Gino, Rachel and their team. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Just spent 2 fantastic days at the temple bar Inn. The venue is beautifully situated, well decorated in keeping with its surroundings. The room I had was spotless, comfortable and relaxing. The bar had great local beer on tap. The breakfast was top rate and set me up properly for the day ahead. I can't praise the staff enough, particularly the owner who did everything they possibly could to make me comfortable and welcome. The service, accommodation, staff and location have been above and beyond expectations. It's been a genuine pleasure to stay here and that's all down to how well this great venue is run. Can't recommend enough. Thanks guys!

A very popular pub by the amount present on our arrival. Very comfortable room with all facilities working well. Very friendly atmosphere from all we spoke with either side of the bar. Gin in abundance, food superb, including a to ‘die for breakfast’. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we’ll be going back. Lovely part of the country too.

My wife and I had a weekend away with our daughter and her husband to go walking in the Brecon Beacons and stayed for three nights at the Temple Bar. We had a fantastic stay, the rooms are very clean with plenty of space, comfortable beds and very good en suite facilities. Gino and Rachael (and Bella) are brilliant hosts and they have wonderful staff who looked after us really well. The pub was lively in the evening with a friendly atmosphere and not at all noisy in the rooms at bedtime. We ate at the pub for two of the evenings, the food was excellent. They even saved us some roast Sunday lunch to eat in the evening (not many places open on a Sunday evening in those parts) and it was delicious. Breakfasts were also excellent with lovely coffee. Fantastic value, we will be back!
