Received good support from this surgery,
The call handlers also listen well, one time I got cut off after waiting in queue and they called me straight back, well done for that and thank you.
Dr Alicia Barnes was very patient and understanding, took her time to address the issues presented, liaising with other professionals to get to the bottom of the issues thank you.
Also thanks for cutting that long message at the beginning of the call straight to the options, great improvement, keep it up.

I had an appointment with Dr Dom for my 6-8 week post birthday review. More than a few awkward things can come up in that appointment but she was amazing at keeping me relaxed and at ease. Her advice was tailored to me rather than reading back the party line, leaving me with a great feeling of confidence in my healing and my first few weeks keeping another human alive. She even managed my excitable husband with grace :D
I wish more docs were like this but it must be hard given how many patients they see a day.

I had a blood test yesterday morning, 17th May 2024. I was early for the appointment and was seen bang on time. The nurse taking my blood was highly efficient and very kind. I was done and out within minutes. Wgat an excellent service.

Moved to this Surgery as previous one was not helping my husband with chest complaints. We now have monthly appointments at Medical Centre in Coalville, Glenfield Heart Clinic is also looking after him and the Doctors are looking after him too, can't praise them enough.

New system allowing forward appointments to be made for non urgent but important appointments works much better than the call at 8-00am queuing lottery system.

I can’t thank the surgery enough for their help with my little boy today. He has a terrible ear infection and the team looked after us well, especially when trying to collect the medication which was out of stock everywhere. They sourced an alternative and sent prescription through, Thank you Gail and team

I have a fear of needles, I can't fault the nurse yesterday when I had my shingles vaccination she was such a caring, thoughtful person

Pleasant patient professional the nurse when she did my blood test I didn’t feel a thing I was happy with this as I suffer anxiety.

Got seen fairly quickly and was advised by my doctor on how to improve my problem, so I am happy with the service I received.

Long lane surgery continously provide a high quality care when I was pregnant, the midwives were attentive, brillant & I can't fault them. I've always been given appointment when my daughter been really unwell. I only use the surgery if I am extremely sick, all the medical and non medical staff been so supportive & excellent.

The admin & receptionist staff have been so supportive, friendly & helpful. I am impressed with the avalaibility of telephone appointment & if required from a face to face appointment.
It's so spacious, modern and clean building, with free parking. I like how you can use Online Engage Consult for repeat prescription,fitnote request,medical information etc instead of calling up the surgery.
I really am grateful for all support & great service long lane surgery has provided me and my daughter. Thank you.

Doctor was excellent listened to what I told her and is doing her best to help me

I have only recently joined the practice, but have been 4 or 5 times now for several reasons. Everyone I have dealt with has been really helpful and kind. I had a blood test yesterday and had to drag my two young children with me, Jane was so nice. My two girls 'helped' her and came out saying they wanted to be nurses. It was so sweet. Cant fault them so far. So thank you Long lane.

Had Carpal Tunnel surgery performed by Dr Rushman. Fantastic service, procedure done well and everything explained so well, really friendly, both himself and the lady with him (who's name I can't remember). Need to go back for the second hand, and am completely comfortable going back and being seen by Dr Rushman again!

I have been with Long Lane Surgery since 1993. I have received a good quality service. There have been few times when staff have really put themselves out to help in difficult circumstances. We have only ever had any real inconveniences or difficulties when the practice has been going through major changes. Even then the staff did their best to cope in non ideal circumstances. I'm pleased it's reasonably easy to get an appointment and the doctors take time to listen and examine. Thank you for the fantastic care you have taken of my family over the years.

I do not like going to the doctors because I do not wish to waste their time over something small like a simple cold or a little Flu like symptoms.
I have only used their services, because that is what they are, when I really need them. I have mental heath issues and medical issues which cause lots of problems. Staff and doctors do their best to treat me with respect, and friendliness. I get sick and tired of people complaining about not getting doctors appointments and all they have is a sniffle. When I have needed help I had a doctor pull out all the stops to make sure I got it, one named in complaints, and if she hadn't have pushed me to get the help I may not be here. So kind and understanding but did what was needed to do. I wish I could stay with these doctors as they have helped my medical care so much, and gone beyond anything I would normally have expected.

5 stars is not enough.

People hate receptionists that ask personal questions, however they are there to help. 4 stars for the staff that sit there all day at the desk getting all the stick, but still the doctors and Nurses push this past a 5 star review.

Having just registered at the surgery I was impressed with the speedy appointment, the spacious and clean building and the fact you know where you are in the phone queue. My previous doctors was constantly engaged you couldn't get through & the lucky ones that did had to wait weeks to get an appointment.

First Rate

I have had a lot of problems over the years, being an autistic adult, with GP surgery's and administration that are in no way autism friendly. Who have no idea about the condition or how it affects us, which is different for every single autistic person. the anxiety this can cause in my case leads to speech problems and mutism. This surgery has gone above and beyond in my opinion to make me feel welcome and valid. the staff are warm, considerate and do everything they can to help. Thank you guys so much.

I don’t usually drift into the realms of the unwell, but this past week I have had to call upon Dr Natalie Kruczenyk of Long Lane Surgery on three occasions – what great service & friendly professionalism. The quality of care, delivery of service & favourable health outcome for me secured by the good Dr Natalie have all been first class. 10 out of 10.
