The chapel is a beautiful and calm environment, we instantly felt at ease as soon we visited.

I recently had the unfortunate role of organising my mother's funeral. In truth, I had no real idea what to do or where to go. I phoned Phillip and his team arranged everything. They really were 1st class. Communication was excellent, extremely professional and sympathetic. They offered ideas and suggestions on what to do, guidance on who I needed to speak to and they did a great job. It took a huge amount of pressure and uncertainty away from the family and I think mum would have been pleased. That is all I could ask for. When my mum passed away unexpectedly on a Saturday morning, we had no hesitation in contacting Phillip G Davies funeral directors. From picking her body up to the internment of her ashes, they were nothing but professional, respectful, and passionate. A red rose was placed on the pillow after mum was taken to the chapel of rest. We sat with Phillip and discussed funeral arrangements, he was very understanding, sympathetic and friendly. I felt very comfortable in telling him my concerns and feelings. Sadly in March my stepfather passed away. I choose Phillip G Davies funeral directors as I had been to the funeral of my sisters father inlaw and the service they had, was so beautiful and the gentleman who did the service Lee was amazing. I decided that was what I also wanted for my step father. When I contacted Phillip and met up with him, I recognised him immediately as Phillip had also done my fathers funeral over 30 years ago. My mother sadly has Alzheimers but recognised Phillip from doing my dads funeral and he instantly started talking to her and making her smile, she had the upmost confidence in Phillip. Phillip was so attentive and gentle from the moment I spoke to him, he included my mother in ways that she felt she wasnt being left out even though I was the one dealing with all the arrangements. Upon hearing about why I had chose them he immediately assigned Lee to do the service and it was amazing just like I knew it would be. Phillip, Lee and colleagues made the process so easy, they were always so respectful, empathetic and professional. I received courtesy calls from Phillip and Lee just checking to see how I was and especially how my mother was.I would choose no other funeral directors in future as I have full confidence in Phillip, Lee and colleagues to go above and beyond. I will always recommend them as they are truly amazing and as a family we are so grateful to them all for helping to give my stepfather the send off he deserved.

Phillip and the team were absolutely impeccable - through every step and every part of the process that followed after the most heartbreaking moment of our lives. From the very beginning they dealt with and explained everything to my mum, kept in regular contact and was/ still is personable and empathetic and I know that I can say on behalf of my mum, that she felt fully supported by Phil.

When it came to the day of the Funeral, we were driven by the drivers who were courteous all round which was followed by Phillip and Lee, who conducted the service at their chapel of rest which was just beautiful. A very warm and comforting setting, and would really recommend this as an option for having a service.
All throughout the day, there was exceptional levels of respect and dignity shown - and continuing care to my mum and close family ensuring that everyone was where they should be at the right times.
Lee spoke about my step-dad with such care and it was clear that they had listened intently to my mums stories about her late husbands life and this really showed.
