The Grove

My stay at The Grove Hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel exudes elegance and charm, with a cleanliness that is truly commendable. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of travel or exploration.

What really sets The Grove Hotel apart, however, is its staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that guests have a memorable stay.

The hotel's dining options are also top-notch. The breakfast buffet offers a wide array of delicious options, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. The bar is a great place to unwind, with a fantastic selection of drinks and a menu of mouthwatering dishes.

Overall, my experience at The Grove Hotel was truly exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and welcoming place to stay.

We enjoyed a stay at The Grove to celebrate our anniversary. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed ourselves! The food was incredible (from the Stables Restaurant in the evening and The Glasshouse for breakfast). The spa was beautiful, modern and relaxing. It was the perfect venue for our special celebration.

Had a lunch with my wife here and it was lovely. Food and service was amazing. And really lovely location / grounds.
I started with the artichoke soup and ham hock. It was delicious!!! Every course we had was spot on.
My desert was profiteroles. Only thing I’d say was that it didn’t need 4 of them. Would have happily had just 2. My wife’s dessert was enough for 2 also… forgot to take into account UK desert size inflation. But I wish I didn’t need to.

My boyfriend and I came here on the weekend of Feb 11th and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was to die for, cocktails were lovely, spa was divine and all of the staff were so attentive and friendly. We were very impressed with the hotel and would love to come back in the future

Popped in for lunch on Valentines Day, the grounds are absolutely breathtaking. We dined at the stables where the service was good; I had the fish of the day, plaice, in this case, with chips and brocoli. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I do have one concern, which I will pick up with the management. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures.

We stayed with you for one night on the 10th March 2024. Knowing very little about The Grove before we arrived, everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Without exception, the staff team were flawless.  They were helpful, polite, professional and engaging. They did everything they could to make our short stay exceptional.

The building and grounds were immaculately presented and maintained. We can't wait to stay again, so we can see the grounds in full bloom. The art work around the building and grounds is fabulous.  It feels like there's a treat around every corner.

We booked our stay after seeing The Grove on Netflix, featured in the "Million Dollar Buffet". We were not disappointed. The quality of food was first rate, with too many highlights to cover in detail. Equally, your buffet breakfast was a fabulous way to start the day.  Next time we'd like to try your other dining facilities.

We originally intended to return home after breakfast but, after our house sitter agreed to stay a bit longer, we spent the afternoon in Sequoia, around the pool. It was fabulous and a lovely relaxing way to end our short stay, before heading home to Cardiff.

I booked this trip as a treat for my wife's birthday. After a week celebrating with family and friends, this was our chance to spend time together, doing something special and it didn't disappoint. At our arrival in Reception, we were informed we had been upgraded to a room with a view of the gardens.  Thank you. That was very kind. The room was lovely and view amazing.

Finally, thank you for an amazing stay. We are really looking forward to our next visit and want to stay longer to make the most of the amazing atmosphere of this beautiful setting. We regularly book stays in London but the ease of access to London city centre makes The Grove a great alternative to our usual hotel, with many additional benefits that come from a rural setting.

I visit to help ensure the kosher standards when catering is supervised by KLBD. The bright and elegant atmosphere begins with the lobby. Both inside and outdoor spaces are available, making this a superb venue for all weather and sizes of events. We have even had multiple events on a day.

On most occasions, kitchen surfaces and equipment are well cleaned, enabling a smooth transition to kosher provision by the outside caterer.

Although a little out of way, I have always had an easy time reaching the grove by car, and parking is plentiful.

A very relaxing stay at this beautiful hotel as part of a spa package. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. They have several restaurants on-site but would recommend getting a reservation for the Glasshouse. Left feeling very pampered and rejuvenated.

Attended for my friend’s anniversary dinner! I LOVED THE FOOD ( well what l ate anyways lol). The staff were so friendly! Our waiter bless him! He was the sweetest and most kindest waiter EVER! I’ll defo will be going back again with my mummy!

Absolutely lovely place to go for a drink. We went on a December day and it was so gorgeously decorated and was a wonderful day to get into the Christmas spirit. The staff here are exceptional and made my mum's day when they offered freshly made mince pies.

Incredible location for a wedding, the entire staff were friendly and helpful, the venue itself and the grounds were beyond stunning. Can only say nice things about how fantastic this venue was. Looking forward to working here again soon.

One of the best indian culinary experiences I've had . It wasnt cheap but for an occasion its a great choice. Food was amazing and large portions, you could taste the individual flavours. The Grove is a beautiful place even in the winter. The service was great with attentive service but not overbearing. We had a large group and they did a large group menu...so it took out the hassle of having to choose.

Spent a blissful weekend here on our babymoon. We were upgraded to a gorgeous room; bed was like a cloud and all the amenities were top notch. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE, so much choice and all of it delicious. Staff were, without fail, helpful and friendly. We had a misunderstanding at check in (fault of mr & Mrs smith booking team) and it was dealt with quickly and politely. The spa is lovely; I had a sublime pregnancy massage! Ate at Madhus and the Stables, which were both lovely and good value meals. Grounds are gorgeous! All in all it’s everything you’d expect from a luxury hotel and we spent half the time planning when we might go back!

Fantastic hotel, in a great setting. Rooms are of the highest quality and service second to none. Small mix up charging me the wrong room's minibar invoice but swiftly corrected by Soad. There isn't a better choice of hotel just outside London than the Grove.

Beautiful setting, fantastic rooms and great service. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, and we loved the spa!
This was our first time travelling with a baby and the hotel did everything to make that easier - providing a cot, a baby bath, helping us carry the baby gym...
Quite pricey, but made for a very relaxing long weekend.

Ate dinner at Madhus. Had the set meat thali.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND the lamb rogan Josh and the prawn moiglee. EXCELLENT DISHES.
DAL MAKNI WAS EXCEPTIONAL.

SERVICE WAS IMPECCABLE.

REALLY worth the price.
This chef knows how to cook. You get an authentic Indian culinary experience that reminded me of my mother's cooking.

A special treat for a special occasion.

A return to form on The Grove's part (weekend stay 27/01/24). Looked after well by Soad from check-in onwards. Soad is a credit to the hotel. The room service was excellent, with friendly staff in attendance. 10/10 food in respect every meal we had.

An excellent massage from Celine, I think that was the name. Lunch menu at the spa a little restricted probably because its healthy. Anyway everything's done with class.

My wife and I went for the Sunday Carvery. It was absolutely amazing. You are definitely spoilt for choice with different types of cuisine. It was a lovely treat
