I had such a pleasant experience in Jane’s shop as I had planned a road trip around South Wales with the plan to stop in for a Welsh Blanket. Upon arrival I noticed the shop had a sign posted indicating the shop was doing seasonal hours with a phone number to call. I did get in touch with Jane and she kindly made arrangements to meet me at the shop same day.

There’s an incredible selection, some newly made and some vintage blankets. Jane was so patient and took the time to give me some history on each blanket I asked about - even offered a cup of coffee while I browsed! I quickly came to appreciate it really is part shop and part museum of Welsh textiles. I couldn’t be more thankful Jane opened up shop for me - if you are doing a road trip and plan to stop in, be sure to get an appointment or call ahead at the least, you’ll be glad you did.

You will find Ty Sinc, a pretty little corrugated 'tardis', in an absolutely idyllic location and full of the most amazing array of contemporary and vintage Welsh blankets you will ever see in one place!

Jane is charming and always has the kettle on to welcome you with a smile and cuppa, Jane's knowledge of each blanket is extraordinary, so what is there not to love? Make sure you leave plenty of time to visit, as choosing your special purchase could take some time - settle in, have a cuppa and enjoy the experience!

I have spent many a contented hour (or two ) deciding which blanket/s, cushions or gifts to purchase - A must destination for any tourist or fellow local to the area, you will not be disappointed! I Love it!

Extremely unique. So much to choose from. Designs are outstanding. My cloak attracts so many compliments and the knitted cushion with tree design is everyone's favourite when they visit. The shop is full of what will become family heirlooms. you're very lucky if you have chance to visit.

Tiny shop in the middle of nowhere but with the best selection of Welsh blankets. We drove from east to west across the Cambrian Mountains to get there; fantastic views!

What a wonderful heavenly soft & exquisite blanket - 50 years old yet as new. Will use for my future Welsh Winters & hope to be well enough to visit in person soon.

This shop looks great with old advertising signs hidden everywhere. The shop sells beautiful Welsh blankets (old and new) and the owner is really knowledgeable about them.
