The Garden Kitchen

I had a wonderful Afternoon Tea with my granddaughter here yesterday. Kay gave us a very personalised service and my granddaughter loved her birthday treat! The food was excellent! Freshly made, delicious sandwiches! Quality ham, tasty egg mayo and two very flavoursome vegan options; hummus, lettuce and tomato, and bhaji, chutney and slaw! The scones were melt-in-your-mouth scones, served with clotted cream, blackberry jam and a butter option! We loved the lemon drizzle slice but we were both too full to enjoy the generous slice of coffee and walnut cake. Kay kindly put the 2 slices into a cake-away box and my granddaughter took it home for her and her sister. Her sister said that it was extremely good!

Kay went above and beyond to make it an extra special treat for the birthday girl and me! Our table was set with a pretty table cloth and the tea was served in beautiful crockery! Loved the fresh berries too!

Took my niece for their afternoon tea and live music event on 15.06.23., and as usual everything was perfect! Delicious food, the Victoria sponge cake was the best I’ve ever had, happy and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Fab vegetarian options as usual

Dog friendly which is very important to me, food was excellent and the service was excellent made you feel wanted, attached to jubilee Park which is a haven of tranquility, great gardens fabulous museum which is free entry, with outst little craft shops within, well worth a visit.

Lovely stop off on our way home from a mini break in Shropshire. We had coffee and bakewell tart. My husband was pleased with the local charity shops too with excellently priced books.

Second visit here with friends as it’s a firm favourite of theirs. Food has been delicious both times, with generous portions and great prices. We’ll be introducing more people to this wonderful “secret”.

I had such a wonderful time at the Garden Kitchen in Bewdley. The setting was beautifully picturesque, and the staff provided such warm and attentive service. And the food? Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!

Honestly perfect cream tea for 2! £9.75 for tea, scones, clotted cream and jam (1 vegan, 1 normal!) staff are incredible and so welcoming! Went above and beyond to make it a lovely afternoon for me and my mom! Will be back soon! Thank you so much! 💛

No booking required, but it does get really busy, so much so they have tables and chairs in the Gardens as well.

Food is very good and tasty, all fresh and served appetisingly. Well worth a visit.

Had an absolutely amazing afternoon in the garden kitchen café at the back of the museum in Bewdley. I can highly recommend the steak, walnut and blue Shropshire salad. Great service too

Had an amazing sausage and egg sandwich, it was big enough to feed 5!! Also, as I had the dog with me they threw in a 'spare' sausage... 👍 Dog and owner v happy, will definitely return.

Thank you so much to all the staff at the Garden Kitchen, in particular Katie, who looked after a table of 10 of us, as we were celebrating the visit of our relations from the USA. The food and the service were excellent, it couldn't have gone better. Excellent customer service, vegan selection perfectly acceptable for me, Mediterranean roasted vegetables with vegan Sheese on a Panini and side salad. Coffee just as if I had made it at home on my own machine. Oat, decaf, latte. So, good, we walked round Bewdley, then went back for more coffee. Fantastic little find.

Myself and a friend had tea and lunch here, we were very pleased with the food and service received. Definitely recommend a visit, especially as you're visiting the museum and gardens.

Lots of seating in lovely places around the museum of or sit under the gazebo in the courtyard. Nice coffee and good range of lunch and cake options. Lovely staff.

Friendly family run cafe with lovely, helpful staff. Food freshly made with quality ingredients all in the hidden gem that is Jubilee Gardens. Favourites are ploughman's for lunch and Victoria sponge for elevenses. Breakfasts are very good too! Oh, and the butties...

We absolutely love coming to this cafe, as the staff are always nice and friendly, and it's situated in the courtyard, within the premises of the museum, so on a warm day, it's perfect. The unique location is wonderful, with lovely Acers and plants dotted around too, and the overall ambience is certainly worth experiencing. We've visited the museum a few times, as we're locals, but we still keep coming back, and often pop into the little shop units too, as well as the cafe, as the people are so friendly, and service is so good. As it's just off the main road, and the centre of town, it's nice and quiet, and tranquil too. I joke to the staff, how I call it 'my utopia'!

Fabulous food and lovely, friendly service. We each had a vegan sandwich (neither of us is vegan) and loved the freshness of the food and flavours. Service was great, would highly recommend.
