Dipali Indian Restaurant

One of my favourite restaurants. Great food and service.

Friendly and polite waiters who took care of us immensely. Wonderful food! Tried ordering something different to the usual Chicken Tikka Masala and was not disappointed. Have been craving the onion bhajis ever since!

We were recommended this place by a colleague and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The fish Bhaji was delicious. The service was impeccable. Everything was reasonably priced.

Little mix up with delivery but the food was absolutely incredible, mas masala pashwari nann mator paneer, so so good. Nice delivery guy too

Always such a great meal here! Such amazing curry full of flavour and cooked to perfection. They said the charming owner has been in hospital and that’s why he hasn’t been there, but the other waiters are still good at recommending dishes in his absence. Everything is always so tasty and I dream about their tandoori prawns!

I've been coming here for decades.

The food is always tasty and delicious, and service is efficient.

The layout is tasteful and sets a nice atmosphere. All friends and family I have entertained here have left satisfied with their meal.

Food is reasonably priced, drinks however are slighlty pricey, but that's not a deterrent.

Depending what time you visit, parking can be a little tricky, there are parking bays along Aldermans Hill, however they do get snapped up rather quickly.

We visited the Dipali on a Sunday lunchtime because they used to do a lovely buffet - Eat as much as you like. They've stopped doing that now and do a set meal from the menu for £12.95 instead. We could choose a starter, a main dish, a side dish, bread and a choice of a rice dish from their quite extensive menu.
We ordered:
Murghi Tikka - Tandoori Murghi - Lamb Madras - Prawn Dhansak - Sag Aloo - Cauliflower Bhaji - Plain Naan - Plain Paratha - Coconut Rice - Pilau Rice.
The food was absolutely delightful we couldn't find fault with anything that we were served. We both enjoy spicy food, the Dhansak and Madras were just right for our palate and the vegetable side dishes were so tasty.
We had difficulty eating the amount of food that we ordered and the staff were kind enough to supply containers so we could take it home.
All in all, we were very happy with our visit to the Dipali. The staff were very attentive and we enjoyed an excellent Indian meal which we considered to be excellent value for money.

I am so shocked to see any bad reviews here! The food is consistently so good, maybe people need to improve their ordering skills haha. The shatkora ghosht is incredible as are all the other lamb dishes, so soft. The chicken tikka massala is the best in London, absolutely to die for. The King Prawn dhanksak is also delicious and perfectly hot. Love this place!!

We have been to Dipali a few times and I can't recommend it enough. On our most recent trip we ordered the chicken tikka massala, tandoori prawns, paneer tikka, and some nice vegetable and rice dishes. They were all absolutely delicious. Great sized portions and attentive, friendly service in this local favourite. If you are anywhere near Palmers Green you must try a Dipali curry!

Amazing restaurant. The staff was so friendly. The food was very tasty and flavorful. The food reminded me of my food back in India, very authentic. 10/10 I highly recommend.

Have used the Dipali for almost fifteen years, best quality Indian food around. Last night we thought we were a dish short on the takeaway we ordered, when we phoned the restaurant they immediately offered to send a fresh one. We realised it was our mistake and phoned back but was most impressed with the friendly and helpful service. The food was excellent too.

This is by far the best curry house I have been to in london, the flavour in the food was incredible! Every dish did not disappoint! I've had so many greasy and disappointing curries in london, so I was so pleasantly surprised to actually get authentic curries and flavours at Dipali! The lamb shank melted in your mouth, the prawn sizzler was SO good! Everything we tried was great! I can't wait to come back! And not to mention owner created a great atmosphere for everyone to enjoy the night! Thank you so much!
