We booked a one night break for a family funeral, we was pleasantly surprised with our room the bed was so big and so comfortable we really did get a good night sleep . Now for how clean it was , our room was spotless , Myself and hubby have stayed a fair few b&b style places and other air b&b hires and never have we walked in to such a clean room . The cleaner is a huge credit to this establishment.

Breakfast , so we had 4 slices of bread so much jam , marmite , marmalade , butter , biscuits , yogurts , cereal and other bits we were spoilt for choice .

There was plenty of parking and access to the room was easy , although there was a metal bar as you walk through the tunnel which in the dark we didn't see so I did trip . It might be worth a mention on messages sent out before arrival if people are going to be arriving In the dark and maybe a fresh sign as the one that was above the the metal bar wasn't visible .

Would we stay again ? absutely yes we would .The room was lovely the staff were amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming .

We visited this establishment for a meal the food was excellent also the friendly service. Definately go there again. The room which we had our meal in was really pleasant. We had 17 month old twin boys with us. And they catered for them with no problems.

Convenient location just off the High St. With car parking. Had a lovely meal and was not overpriced. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little complex with parking and really good sized rooms, the amenities are top notch with juices, yoghurts, bread, butter, milk and a selection of jams. I really liked this hotel as it had a microwave, fridge and a toaster, coupled with cutlery and plates which opened the options for eating in the room. There is a restaurant but you do have to book and it does come at a price but the staff are lovely. All in all a great little complex.

The last post was a couple of years ago when the food was amazing.
Sadly, this time, it was a huge letdown
The food was dreadfully overcooked. Hence, the pork was so chewyit was only the fact I was hungry I ate it. The service was ok, but really needs to improve, but the main thing is sack the chef and get one that can cook.
Sorry, but it was a waste of money and sadly a waste of an evening out.

Fantastic quaint hotel,I would definitely highly recommend this hotel as some of my wedding guests stayed here.
Food and service was fantastic and hats off to the wonderful service we all received from all the staff.

Only point I'd like to suggest is to update clearer signage to :
1) Opening times for those staying in the hotel wishing to use the restaurant etc.

2) Car park - as a suggestion maybe 🤔 look into considering 🤔 painting or marking out car parking bays,it's a lot easier for all guests to reverse into a space than to drive into them given the limited size of the car parking area.

What a gem! We booked and stayed last minute, the room was clean and of a great standard. The owner and staff were very accommodating, even allowing us to park our motorbikes in the beer garden (so on hard standing, sheltered and overlooked by a Ring doorbell). The food and drinks were equally good. All round excellent establishment.

We stayed here for a night whilst we were walking the Peddars Way and it was lovely. The food in the pub for dinner was so good and a great price; we left feeling absolutely stuffed!! The room was nice, very spacious and there was a very comfy bed with good pillows 🙂 Considering how big the room was, the bathroom could have been a bit bigger. With that in mind, it still had everything you needed.
Breakfast the next day was brilliant and was really delicious. Staff service throughout our stay was really good and we would definitely recommend it.

Really nice place, would stop again, staff very good and helpful, service good, food very good, good potion sizes. Beers very good.

Room well presented with very good complimentary breakfast and optional full English. Enjoyed my stay. Only negatives are too minor to mention.....

Parking was good if not a busy night.

Great pub. Food was really good. Staff very friendly and helpful. No problems having the dog with us either. Sensible layout with some really nice covered outdoor seating areas. Didn't have to wait too long for food either. Drinks were about normal price but a little more than we were expecting for Norfolk. All in all worth a visit.

At a time of inflated prices and low availability I am so pleased we found The Willow House! Absolutely SUPERB value for money, especially the food... huge portions, first time in a while the family have not even wanted desserts! Nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Very dog friendly. Nicely located in Norfolk to visit many areas and attractions. Thank you Ducan and the team for making us feel very welcome.

Large clean rooms, comfortable beds, lovely staff and delicious food.
We had a great stay last weekend we were 3 couples with 2 teens. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Great value. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in a long time. The pub was quaint.

We visited the Willows for a family meal last Sunday and all of use were impressed from start to finish. We were greeted by the landlord who "checked" us in, making sure we gave details for the NHS track and trace, he explained the layout of the pub and outdoor area and led us to our tables. There were 10 of us over two tables. We ate in the marquee area which is nicely decorated with plants and twinkly lights. There is a buzzer set-up for service, someone came and took our drinks orders really quickly. Despite being told the menu was limited due to coming out of lockdown, there was a great choice for adults and kids. Everyone enjoyed the food (lovely puddings). The kids got a little cold so the staff brought them blankets and hot water bottles. Thank you, lovely food and great service. I was a little dubious about eating outside on a cold day, but it was a pleasant and comfortable experience.
