Sharon and her family created something unique here in the staffs moorlands and she is great (well all the family are) nurturing up and coming talent.

I have now done 2 courses with Sharon, hair extensions and my level 3 ladies hairdressing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Sharon is such a lovely lady, she helps you along your way and pushes you when you think you can't do it. Squires is a family run business and when you are there, your part of that family also. I couldn't thankyou enough for what they have done for me x

I completed my level 3 barbering and perming qualification at Squires. And I couldn’t ask for a better place. Mick and Sharon are exceptional tutors and brilliant people with 5* banter!

Highly recommend squires training academy . I joined squires about 5 weeks back to do a hairdressing course after many individuals recommended Sharon. It is the best decision I ever made . I’m loving every second of it. The course is amazing , I’m still new to learning about hairdressing but from Sharon’s dedication and fantastic work , I see an improvement every week.I can’t wait for the many weeks ahead xx

Cannot thank Squires enough for my training! I completed my level 2 hairdressing last year and due to finish my level 3 soon. I got my first hairdressing job mid-way through my level 2 and have been loving working as a stylist ever since! Such a friendly and safe space, the team go above and beyond for their students. Learning on the shop floor and working on real clients every week gives you the real-life experience. If you’re wanting to qualify as a hairdresser/barber I would 100% recommend Squires and learning in this way!!

I can't recommend Squires Academy enough. I've just finished a 6 week barbering course with Sharon who is a fantastic teacher. The course was engaging, informative and fun and we had plenty of opportunity to work on real people. I can't wait to go back on the 27th March for a colouring course.

If your looking to get into hairdressers or barbering or just improve on your skills I honestly wouldn’t recommend anywhere else to go ! It’s a lovely family run business who make you feel welcome as soon as you step though the door ! The training is fantastic and they provide you with personal packages tailored to your own individual needs with one to one training in small groups not only do you feel like your really learning and developing your skills you get to make great friends along the way . They really do care about you and your education ! and I honestly can say that I’ve left with great skills to take into the industry and great friends too !

Excellent set up, very professional in Squires dedicated barbering school in its own premises. Sharon has fantastic knowledge and experience of being able to train people to the highest level.

I came on the extension corse and had an absolultey brilliant day. Learned so much everything was explained and demonstrated so well. Such a fun and friendly face. I did my first set of extensions a week after going on the corse and Thanks to Sharon's teaching I found it easy and rememberd everthing she had shown us. 100% wood reccomend. This is a working salon/ barbers so you couldn't be learning in a better environment

Sharon and mick who run the course are amazing,when i first started my Barbering course i was really shy and had no confidence,theyve put so much hard work into helping me with my confidence that now i feel i can acomplish anything,so thankyou so much Sharon and Mick,i do really appreciate everything that you both have done to help me,i hope to be back as soon as i possibly can to do my level 3 Barbering,i wouldnt want to go anywhere else to do my Training.X

I can highly recommend Sharon and the team at the training academy I did two courses the colour refresher and cutting and style i enjoyed both courses and gained lots of Confidence with the skills after undertaking them which has then taken me back into the industry with confidence and up-to-date training in the different colour applications and cuts im sure I will be back again soon to learn something new Thank you xxx

They all absolutely go out of their way to help you understand and achieve ur goals and nothing is too much trouble. A lovely family ran business.
